Questions & Answers

How much does this item weigh? What are the dimensions?

This work of art measures 15 1/4" tall by 5 1/4" wide The diameter of this wheel is 13 3/4 inches

Can a 5 gallon bucket be used in place of this container? Do I need to buy a special lid for it, or can I use the Gamma lid/seal to cover it?

My pleasure to respond to your question. There are seven of them. There is no lid included with a 9 gallon plastic fermentor like those that come with 5 gallon buckets. For the 7" there is a lid. The size of 9 is greater.

This looks like a typo, is it not? According to the description, it comes with one bucket and lid, however the set is priced at more than twice what it would sell for anywhere else. Are you the victim of a scam or a ?

Yes, it is just one bucket with a lid

In order to seal the fermenter, how should the lid be put on? Operation how do I do it?

Applying pressure on the lid makes it easy for the lid to be attached to the bucket. Rather than in the center, it is preferable to be on the outside. device does not have a spigot, you will not have to worry about ensuring that the seal is satisfactory. You will already have a grommet for the aerator in the lid, so you should be good to go. Ingredients should be added to the bucket, the lid should be on, and the airlock should be inserted

It is misleading to know how much capacity is in the bucket! Quality is decent, but the price for a bucket is a little high
3/5

The primary ferment needs to be capacity of at least 2 plus gallons per gallon of wine you make for a standard batch of 5 gallons Neither Home Depot nor most trash cans are made from food grade plastic, so a 7 to 8 gallon bucket is impossible to find there. This is the reason I decided to spend more money. Please be aware of the following warnings A gallon scale on the side of this bucket is in Imperial Gallon measurements because it was made in Canada. A gallon of imperial volume is six US gallons. You cannot mix 5 gallons of must into your secondary glass carboy because a 5 gallon glass carboy is rated at 00475 US Gallons. Your recipe can be adjusted to US gallons by simply changing the volume Unless you are Canadian, you should disregard the scale on the bucket.

The perfect answer is I am super happy right now
5/5

This item is marked on the bottom 6 with "Made in Canada. ". I think 5 imp gallons are okay. A 5 imp gallons is equal to 7 imp gallons. The United States is at 80617 U. S. A gallon. The water level came up to the bottom of the gallon line every time I measured and poured from the 128 ounce container for its As a result, the graduations are in U. S. It holds gallons. As the markings are only for 5 US gallons, I added another 128 oz (1 US gallon) and made a mark for 6 US A water lever is located 3 1/2 inches from the top of a 6 US GALLON jug. In addition to the 1 gallon and 3 quarts, I added another 1 and a half inches until the level reached 1/2 inch. In the following paragraphs, we will be advertising this bucket.

There's nothing wrong with it, it's just a bucket There are labels
5/5

The product I bought was 5 gallons, not 7. I returned it when I discovered the difference. I retained the second review from the reviews I read. There are seven of them. There is 9 gallons in this jar. A couple weeks ago we brewed our first 6 gallon batch and it was fermenting and bubbling out of Despite knowing it was sealed, we didn't see any bubbles from the airlock in our previous brew bucket, which was a five gallon container. Our second 6 gallon batch went into production within 2 days, with bubbles appearing again after 2 days. Hence, it will definitely hold more than 5 gallons, since it is sealing.

In the one I got, there was no 7 on it
3/5

There is 9 gallons in this jar. 6 buckets were filled to the brim of my bucket. A 5 gallon bucket overflows with a 7 gallon bucket. A 25-gallon tank.

Buckets of good quality
5/5

It appears that the buckets are of good quality, are sturdy and have tight fitting lids. There were no problems for me with getting the lids on or off, but I can see where they might be for someone else. They are all satisfactory to me, all in all.

The price is simply too high for the product
5/5

I really like the way it works. I thought it was silly that the price was so high. It costs $3 to buy a 5 gallon bucket at Walmart. These buckets are the same size and are about twice as much plastic, but cost almost $40. There is only one difference between them this one is 8 gallons. It is for writing (big deal), and the lid has a grommet to keep the lid in place. It costs a couple of bucks to buy a lid at Walmart. When you pay for an abstract size, you're getting nothing but abstract size. The size of it is larger It doesn't cost more to make, so they charge more (this isn't true for the price). There is a 12$ price tag on it.
