Regarding your inquiry, thank you. An auto siphon with a diameter of 1/2" is approximately 1 1/8" wide.
There is a bend at the top of the racking cane that measures 24 inches from the bottom to the center of the tube. At 25 1/4 inches, the siphon tube is slightly longer than the siphon tube.
This is a very good If you're going to clean this with anything other than a towel and warm soapy water, then abrasive material is not necessary. It is strongly recommended that you rinse and clean your machine as soon as you are finished using it. In any case, if you have deposits on the inside of the plastic then a cleaner such as PBW is recommended. Thanks so much.
A plastic material. The material seems to be fairly durable, My existing one is fine, but I'd get a new one if mine

I wasted my time. As a former auto-owner, I've had a number of them The siphons and I seem to break the rack cane every time we disassemble to do There was something different about this one. It was loose enough where the tubing was connected to the racking cane that it drew oxygen into the system when I was using it for the first time. Siphon was a bit annoying, but I was able to maintain it by pinching in the right place. I was unable to use this valve in my second creation after the check valve failed while inside it, leaving the auto-operation defective Using siphon is pointless (please see other comment for I tried to use only the racking cane part and siphon the old fashioned way to move forward. There was an issue with the connection between the tubing and the racking cane which made it so difficult to My frustration caused me to rage quit and I threw it in the trash. If I dig it out in a few days, I can try using it again, but for now it's completely useless.
Well, it seems like it should work just fine, but it came with the wrong size. There are instructions on how to make it fit on the suction device, but it would have to stretch a lot, which didn't happen. It also came with a hose just as large in diameter as the part that goes on the suction device.
This was a very good purchase for me. In most cases, the syphon works in one or two strokes and is better than the manual syphoning method I had used until now. This upgrade reduced my transfer time from 30 minutes to about 5 minutes, and I was able to upgrade from 3/8" to 1/2". As long as it's cut in half, eight feet of tubing can be made to make two tubes. Still haven't done that though. It would definitely be a good idea to.
I had it for two months before the one way valve broke, making the machine A replacement valve is not possible. I only have a 30 day return period so it's trash right We highly recommend that you do not buy.
As you can see, this is the jumbo siphon, which uses 7/16 tubing, while it shipped with 5/16 tubing to fit the regular siphons. There was no way the tube was going to slide onto the cane no matter how much boiling water was applied. Thanks to my stock of 7/16" tubing, I was able to buy some.
It's possible I'm a bit dense, but I thought a 1/2" siphon would be half an Unfortunately, I don't think so. It is important to size your clothes.
When I used it for the first time yesterday, I was surprised at how much more efficient it was to transfer from primary to secondary carboy, and how easy it was to start the siphon with just one pump. I won't ever use a siphon with a smaller diameter In order to prime the siphon, the tubing stays in the carboy in a long enough length.
It incorporates both the syphon and tube into one unit. Since the flow rate has increased, there is less time waiting for the carboy to be emptied.
