Yakima Valley makes excellent hops online, so I recommend buying them directly from them. Usually, they list the crop year along with all the updated specs and have specials available. It's best to buy enough for a month or so to save on shipping, they will even throw in some free items if you buy enough

It was too late for these hops. A month after purchasing, I still have it. The 2016 harvest was responsible for these. A harvest of hops occurs only once a year, close to the end of Therefore, these hops had been mature for about 17 to 18 months. It's not common for hops to lose half their Alpha Acid after 12 months, and that's only if they're There is no reason why hops sellers on Amazon should be required to state the harvest year of their hops. It is best to be cautious when purchasing. You cannot expect a beer to have the flavor profile you expect when you use old hops.
