Alternative to pbw that is just as effective at a lower price, but does not leave hard water marks

I would not call this a bad product, but neither is it outstanding. A pound of this product is more affordable per lb than powdered bleach, and it takes less mixing time per gallon to make a cleaning solution than powdered bleach. The instructions on the hat indicate two scoops per gallon for cleaning fermenters and carboys, and each scoop appears to be one You can use that number to estimate how long a tub will last you. My Mark 2 keg and carboy washer removed the wine krausen from the carboy in about ten minutes and left no hard water stains. Those are the aspects of this product that really stand out. As a result of its chemistry, Pbw participates in calcium removal from hard water and leaves hard-to-remove chalky deposits on your equipment when it dries if you have hard The product does not leave residue when used. For this reason, as well as the low price per pound, I'll be buying this product in bulk for my brewery to use instead of pbw going forward.

The results are similar to PBW, but a little better. To remove etching marks from drinking glasses, I have soaked and scrubbed this solution into the etching marks on brewing equipment. Cleaner that is very effective.
