Even though this may be the best sanitizer in the world, we rely on the advertising, in this case, the one step, no rinse claim. ** However, neither the packaging nor the distributor's website say anything about this Dissolve 3 oz. of water in 1 cup of warm water. (1 Tbsp per gallon) per 5 gallons of warm water. Surfaces should be washed with a solution and rinsing with water is recommended. A few brewing outfits say that we're not capable of reading and understanding the instructions in the Questions and Answers. Can we rely on each other? REMAIN on the surface WITHOUT rinsing with water since I washed with solution and rinsed with water? The water I use is well water, and it is not I wanted something ONE STEP so I didn't have to rinse. Rinsing negates sanitizing, which is why I was looking for.
There is a need to rinse the sanitizer off, but it still works. I usually rinse regardless, so it isn't a big deal for me, but you should read the directions carefully.
It is used as a cleaning and sanitizing agent for beer - Our company has been producing equipment for over a year. Nearly 20 batches were tested and found to be free of contamination and Skeptics claim that it does not withhold these potentially harmful bacteria from the environment. It has worked for me in the past. I keep my equipment pretty clean and I thoroughly rinse my bottles, so perhaps taking care of them makes a difference. The demands I make aren't too high.
I'm very happy with the results. It was very easy to use and we liked the no rinse aspect. We only used it for the buckets and did not use it for the bottles, but we still got good beer with no issues and did not need to wash.
A good sanitizer for the equipment used to produce beer. Very easy to use, but must be mixed with warm water to make sure the mixture is properly mixed. Claim that once in contact with the surface, the equipment doesn't need going through rinsing.
I've used this product several times and it works great! I got on the internet as soon as my local wine shop closed down and found a great company. My point of view is that you should only buy easy, clean, and less messy products.
