My glasses were given away, so I don't have them for comparison. However, I am not convinced that the holes penetrate all the way to the bottom. As long as the anchors are present, the neck need to be sealed.

Combucha and water kefir are favorites in our house, so we decided to make some of our own. The glass bottle was a key item for home brewing, and these helps protect our valuable Kombucha and water kefir from light probiotics are light sensitive, so amber bottles do not expose them to a lot of light. It has a nice, strong and sturdy appearance. I love the way these bottles feel, they're not thin or cheap. These easy flip caps keep the bottles carbonated during the second fermentation and we've been happy with the results. Though I was concerned about transporting the bottles, especially the trip to work, I found the cap to be extremely secure and kept my bottles tightly closed during transportation. Besides the good quality bottle brush and funnel included at no extra charge, this item also came with a good quality funnel. I have done a batch of Kombucha and two batches of water kefir with these bottles and they are It probably would work just as well with homebrewing beer. The product has been a huge hit with both my wife and I and I will purchase a second set shortly.
What does the listing say about the lids having swing tops? Yes, I did not receive It seems that the seller will not respond to us now that we have bottles without lids. In giving this product 2 stars, I would like to point out that 1) I got them on a really good sale, and 2) the funnel and bottle cleaner seem to work. I don't like it. Alright, but that's all. 3) I am hoping there will be an easy fix for the horrible bottles (see below).

Kombucha is the perfect beverage for these bottles. It's easy to clean, the lids seal very well (very tightly), I have never had any problems with the lids sticking, and I have re-used them a few times without any problems whatsoever. Specifically, I just reordered another 6 pack of bottles for my brewing needs. I love it!.
It was double packaged and individually bubble wrapped when it was delivered to me. There were about a hundred pieces of broken glass in one bottle. As a result of reading other reviews, I'm suspicious that they're purposely putting broken bottles in packages in order to get rid of them sooner rather than later. Though I wish I were wrong, I cannot see how one of six could have broken into such many pieces, but the others weren't.
Its size, style, as well as the amber color, were also attractive to me. It came highly recommended by friends of mine, and I'm glad they did, since I'm absolutely delighted with this company. Bottled kombucha tea is what I use for my kombucha. There is no way to improve on them.
