Questions & Answers
It will, in fact. It's designed to fit a rolling pin that's 15" in diameter. You can get rid of anything that isn't working. Alternatively, don't buy anything and just use a clean sock that has been trimmed to fit!
I'm not sure if these covers will fit on French rolling pins because they don't have handles. They are, however, stretchy (similar to the cuff of a jacket sleeve) and might fit. I've never used a French Rolling Pin before, so I can't say whether or not it would work. However, they are very inexpensive, so even if they don't work, you won't lose much money. I hope this response has been of assistance to you.

This is a horrible product! I've been baking pies for a long time and was in desperate need of a new rolling pin cover. These are far too long for a standard rolling pin, and when I first tried to roll out my pie crust, the cover bunched up and wouldn't let the pin roll. I had to cut some of the end off to get it to fit, but it still didn't work very well. It's very thin and quickly stretches out, so it no longer fits snugly around the rolling pin. I threw it away because it was useless.
Years ago, my grandmother and mother showed me how to make lefse. It's a flat bread made of potatoes and flour that's rolled out and fried on a flat grill in Norway. We've tried a variety of methods to speed up the process, but we've found that using a heavy rolling pin covered in a sock is the most effective. For my wedding, we made a total of 12 batches!.
It really works. These covers were used by both my mother and grandmother, and I now understand why. The non-stickiness of the cover is greatly improved by a light dusting of flour on it. stick- the pin's uniqueness.
This is a fantastic way to keep the flour off your rolling pin. Everyone should make Lefse, in my opinion.
They easily slipped over my rolling pin and performed admirably when making pastries and pizza dough.
I'm not going to buy. They drew away from the rolling pin and stretched.
These were difficult to come by and were required for making lefse.
