For children, it is a good size and has fun colors. When we put them in the sink for washing afterwards, the water collected inside the color roller through the flaps on either side. We got it all out but the residual moisture soon rusted the metal rod inside. This is NOT safe for food use and can be very difficult to clean.

The width of a rolling pin is only about three inches. The frame is 75 inches tall. Because they advertise themselves as having "a Non-Toxic Silicone Roller" I purchased two sets of these small silicone rolling pins for use with clay projects and my grandchildren A surface that sticks Great for kids, as it is 9 inches in length and is suitable for young children. I have found them to be less than user-friendly and difficult to work with. Air that comes from nature - It is dry clay that sticks to the wooden pins, rather than polymer clay. In order to provide natural air - I used to play with dry clay when I was ten. A wooden rolling pin with a diameter (width minus handles) of 5 inches is the ideal non-breakable roll out tool I have a 12" hollow plastic dowel rod that provides a nonstick surface that allows me to apply my “no-stick technology”. This provides a convenient “stick surface” for rollouts.

Most importantly, the roll surface of these small silicon rolling pins is only 3 mm. These rolling pins are 9 inches high and have only 3 inches of rolling surface. Because the rolling pins are only 75" long, they are too short. The dimensions of this painting are 75 inches wide by 7 inches high. In my attempt to roll out a small piece of clay, I discovered that the short width of the rolling pin leaves lines as it rolls. You can see the picture below. Short rolling pins are not suitable for small rollouts or for projects that involve large quantities. An adherent surface is produced when clay is rolled If you roll out clay, you will see lines left by the rolling pin. It is not recommended to buy these pins if you need a smooth surface for your project. In my old wooden rolling pin (18 inches tip to tip), I found that some of the blunt ends had fallen off. The surface of the roller is 5 inches wide Rolling pins of this size (7" circumference) provide a better rollout than these tiny silicone ones. I also like that my 12" hollow plastic dowel makes rollout jobs easier as opposed to In spite of only having 2 surface areas, the dowels do not provide a suitable amount of surface area. Play doh will be a lot of fun with these. They were a great price and are a fun toy to use while playing with play doh, not actually baking so I am not sure how they work with actual dough, but for play doh they are fine.

i bought these for my kids to use with play doh, and they love them! they love being able to use the rollers and I like that they're not the cheap ones that come with play doh. My kids have also helped me make cookies with their own and they LOVE having them!.
