My dough seldom comes out round for a long time and I used to believe my own fault. I didn't stay up late to figure it out, but it was really annoying that something so seemingly basic was so evasive to So I tried the french pin, and it worked great! It arrived the day after I baked an apple pie and I rolled two rounds with it. To me, classic pins with handles and bearings have always been the best. I won't need them again, at least when I have rounds to roll. The pin is beautifully smooth as satin, a real beauty. A perfect turn appears to have been made. The only complaint I have is that it has been burned with the name Ebuns at The burnt-in edges were unattractive on top of being uneven, with a burnt-in portion that was too deep at the end, leaving sharp edges.
