Materials that are not too expensive
3/5

I use cake testers to temperature meats and proteins as a professional chef, so I expected something solid and sturdy for the price. The rod was bent as soon as I took it out of the package, and the plastic grip is cheap. I would never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever.

It's a step up from the ATERA cake tester
5/5

I wish I'd known about this tool earlier in my professional life. I use the fine tip to check the doneness of my meats and to test cakes. A silicone tip on the dual-sided tool can be used to separate cakes from their baking molds.

It works great if you poke it in and then lift it straight out
5/5

On all of my baked goods, I use this device to check for doneness. I made the mistake of testing a cake sideways because I didn't pull it out far enough to place it straight on, and it ripped, as one would expect; however, if you slide the item out so you can poke it straight in and lift it straight out, you won't have any problems. This is a fantastic resource.

Definitely flimsy
3/5

Although the handle on this cake tester is very thin and flimsy, it would be useful for separating the cake from the pan.

This is a fantastic resource! This is a fantastic product: it's sturdy, comfortable to hold, and simple to clean
5/5

It's ideal for checking the doneness of cakes ranging in height from one inch to several inches. It's also a product that you'll keep for a long time. Toothpicks are no longer necessary.

This cake tester is nothing more than a piece of plastic and a wire, which is exactly what it should be
5/5

This one has a plastic handle that makes it easier to hold and find in the drawer than one with only a wire handle.

It's simply effective
5/5

This method can be used to release baked goods from the pan's side as well as for testing. Yes, it's delicate, but it needs to be in order for it to work properly.
