Despite the fact that my "fundage" is currently low, I refuse to buy anything less than exactly what I want and consider the best, even if it means waiting or saving. I was a little concerned about the low price of this set because all I really needed/wanted was a biscuit cutter. My grandmother used an old metal Donald Duck orange juice can (cut out on both ends) as her cutter to make buttermilk biscuits that were uniform in size, which I didn't realize were very small in comparison to most until I became an adult; I've spent years trying to find something the same size, with clean edges to use (now those "cans" are cardboard). br>I chose this set after looking at a lot of cutters online and reading reviews. WOW! There are so many sizes to choose from, and the material is sturdy and not at all flimsy! I don't have a dishwasher, so I can't compare the results of handwashing to those of the dishwasher - But I adore how they keep shining and looking brand new after each use! This was part of a set of cooking-themed Christmas gifts that I purchased. The box was attractive and ideal for giving as a present. able. The circle cutters are nice and sturdy, and the handle is really ideal for this set. The metal of the cutters appears to be durable and thick and nice, and the handle is really ideal for this set. I really like how the set stacks on top of each other. However, given that the gift is to make donuts, I was surprised that the smallest cutter was still fairly large; however, the innermost cutter isn't so large as to be a dealbreaker, and perhaps in use this will be a non-issue. issue. It appears to be a well-made, durable set. I also appreciated the fact that this set only included the two items that were required.

These were purchased for my daughter, who has recently expressed an interest in learning some traditional family recipes such as biscuits. br>When I first saw this set, I was blown away. They arrived in a nice box, and everything appears to be very sturdy and functional. I like that the cutters have a removable ring that I can replace when they're not in use to keep them all together, and that I can store all of these pieces together in the neat box they came in so they don't take up valuable drawer space.

The functions aren't the reason for this one star. It looks fantastic, and I'm confident that it performs admirably as well. I was dissatisfied because the manufacturer had not responded to my inquiry about the grade of stainless steel they use since last week. I wanted to double-check the material section on Amazon, which says 18/8. Despite the fact that no one had responded, I ordered it anyway and discovered it to be extremely magnetic. It isn't 18/8, as the name implies.

Everything is built to last, which is especially important when working with dough. This is a very sturdy and well-made piece. It turned out to be wonderful. I was very pleased with the pastry cutter's strength. Others I've used before were too wobbly, and I had to clean the blades on a regular basis - This, on the other hand, was a serious project. I'm going to order another one for myself since this one was for my father. Because scottish scones are round, I also used biscuit cutters. They also performed admirably. My choices have made me very happy.
