It's most likely out of stock and on back order from the manufacturer. Covid has resulted in a surge in demand, with manufacturers scrambling to find employees and/or components.
Yes, as well as two additional lines
I don't think so. Thailand was most likely the source of this item.
This is just a guess, but I'd say yes; if it rises to the top of the banneton, I doubt it will run over the sides due to the dough's thickness. Good luck

It was only a few weeks ago that I reached the age of 99. If you have the option, please do so. This isn't something you should buy.
sized loaf of bread (i. e. one that isn't too large). I frequently make sourdough bread using Sarah Owen's recipe from Food52. These baskets are ideal for that recipe, and they came with a cute little card with instructions on how to care for them. This was extremely helpful to me because I am new to baking.
In between the rows, I discovered straight, coarse black hairs.
I tried the baskets right away and took a photo of the outcome, which appears to be satisfactory for a first attempt. If you're new to the hobby, I recommend watching videos on how to make sour dough bread. I'm going to try baking bread in my wood-fired pizza oven and will report back on the results. I believe it was well worth the money, but I will need to purchase additional baskets in order to make a large number of loaves.
It's ideal for sourdough proofing. I like how it leaves a pattern on my cooked bread. The only thing I don't like about it is how difficult it is to get the flour out of the cracks.
Each one can hold a single loaf of bread. They don't take up nearly as much space on the counter as proofing in a bowl does. You won't need to add oil to your dough because you floured the baskets. The best part is that the basket liners do not need to be washed after each use.
The baskets appear to be of good quality, though there is a seam around the bottoms of the oval that I would rather not see. I tried using one set of ovals, but they turned out to be much smaller than I expected. I've since discovered that this is a common complaint in other reviews. I'm sure they work fine; however, I'm undecided about returning them. Small loaves aren't a problem for me because I mostly give bread to friends, and they fit nicely into gallon ziplock freezer bags. The baskets are small, so keep that in mind.
To get the cool lines on my boules, I tried baking without the cloth, but then I ran into a cleaning problem. br>Either way, it's fine. br>These Bannetons work great for round Sourdough loafs to strengthen the shape. br>I throw the cloth liners in the washer and hand dry them before using them again.
