To make sure the cake is done, test it with a toothpick. This method does not take a temperature. Here are some links that may help
Stainless steel is used for the probe part, while plastic is used for the end. Although it is a little shorter than the usual ones I buy in the regular store, it is long enough for my use.
As a thin tester, I think this tester is great as it does not collect dust like other testers. The difference between this and others is their thickness this one is perfect for everything baking!

A variety of foods are tested daily with these in order to determine their internal temperature. What I expected they would do is what they did. By buying 12 of these cake testers, you can achieve a huge discount on the price per unit. For Christmas, I gave some as gifts to fellow line cooks, and I felt that this was an economical purchase.
The Cake tester is good, but shorter than the one you buy at the store. Even after being used for a few months, it works well and is a good buy for its price. Having a few to lose and a few to give can be acceptable.
However, if there were a way to store them on your jacket, it would be nice.
There is only one item in my basket so the rest can be.
Especially useful for cooks on the line. Having a pack of 12 cake testers in my office would definitely be worth the money to me, since I am always losing them.
A cake tester like this will be good for checking bundt and pound cakes for doneness. It's just too short to use a toothpick.
I love it!.
It works well with these.
