Having been an avid outdoor cook (BBQ and Grilling), I enjoy basting. What I do not like is food with pig bristles. When I first began to grill some chicken, I used these brushes to brush on the BBQ sauce. Using this brush was as easy as using my old wooden pig bristle brush, but I did not lose any bristles, and cleaning is much easier. There is one thing to consider, these have a relatively short handle which is fine for me (I use insulated gloves) but for some people, a longer handle would be more useful when it comes to BBQ brushes.

As far as I can tell, these brushes work well. The tubes were purchased so that cooking oil could be applied to a Belgian waffle maker prior to heating it. I have tried different brushes before and they either melted or were no longer usable after one use, but this brush has been used many times and shows no signs of a problem so far, and is also very easy to clean.
