This was purchased to be used with a waffle maker I purchased in December. Several times I must have applied oil to the waffle grates, and therefore I needed a basting brush. It was used in waffle makers, washed in dishwashers and hand washes, and used to baste other foods almost two months after it was manufactured. They work fine and look great even after all this time. Today's photos (Feb 2020) have been added. It is for this reason that I picked up the 3 pack. Is there a reason not to? All of the pieces in my set exactly match the description. Three basting brushes were sent to me, one green, one yellow, and one They are precisely 8 inches wide and 8 inches long. The length of the window is 25 inches. In the brush, there are one hundred "hairs" each. A 25" long brush, with a brush width of 1 inch. The handles are 25 inches long, with a hole in the tip to thread a chain or hang them together. A soft, flexible brush hair is what makes the brush attractive. It may be a good idea to look somewhere else if you need a brush with more stout hair. Even though these are oddly lovely, if you want to use this for a massage of the face or other tactile work, then they are very good.

This is horrible! Your money is not worth it! There are some people who get what was pictured, and others who do not. I didn't want mine to come apart, and that is why mine came apart! There were too much flimsiness to them and the bristles looked like the bristles on a Koosh ball. This is horrible! In no time at all, I returned to my home.

It performs well! Most of the time, I use these to brush olive oil onto bread when making paninis or to brush olive oil onto phyllo dough when making Their use is very effective in these cases. In addition to brushing the sauce on chicken, I've also used them to brush thicker barbecue sauce on meat. Unlike natural bristles, I've never had to replace these since the silicon bristles do not fall out like they tend to do with other brushes. Additionally, they're incredibly easy to clean, simply by rubbing them with a good antibacterial solution The review does not name any companies. ). I wasn't sure whether or not it was okay to mention brands. My understanding is that they would work fine on the top rack of a dishwasher, but I don't have one currently, so I cannot say for sure. The good news is that you have two backup brushes in case one of them melts in your dishwasher. I also like the bright colors because they make them easy to see in my utensil drawer, even though they are.

These silicone brushes work great, though! All of the edges are on one piece, so no food can be trapped under an edge, and since silicone is easy to clean, there is no chance of food getting stuck. The cups turned out to be very soft and flexible. I was afraid they would break my food because they are stiff like plastic. It was the best purchase I've ever made! A little surprise I'm done with you, bristle shedder.

Before and during cooking, I use these for brushing on oils and sauces. The reason I have extras is that I always put one or two in the dishwasher because I do this so often. The ones we have here are small, so they won't hold much, but they're great for taking a few drops of liquid out of Whenever I use a silicone brush to bast heavily, I use a large one. Since silicone brushes clean up well and handle heat without a problem, I prefer them to traditional brushes.

What a nice idea! I use the green one for veggies, the blue one for meats, and the yellow one The handle of each of these has a hole, which is great because I hang all three on a coffee cup hook, which is how I hang a lot of my kitchen utensils.

The wood glue that hardens on the bristles peels off easily. In one case I left the bristles as they were and in the others I cut them to two short lengths each. As a result, some glue brushes are stiff, which is ideal for glue ups. They are available in silicone glue brushes, however, they cost considerably more.
