Questions & Answers
I usually wash the liner by hand with soap and air it out. I dry the basket by 'knocking' it against the side of the sink to dislodge any flour that may have gotten into the crevices, and then I use a dry brush to get into the crevices if needed. I wouldn't wash or dry the liners in the machine because they appear to be made of a loosely woven material that will shrink.
I did, as I always do when there's food involved.

It works perfectly and makes a lovely 'bread bowl' for soup or stew, a muffuletta, or a small dinner loaf. I use it with a no-knead bread recipe, and the loaf bakes up beautifully with the iconic reed pattern visible. Following the included instructions, it is simple to clean after each use.
When it's time to move it to a peel and slide it into our brick oven, the liner makes things a lot easier for me.
it's a relief Making beautiful bread is a joy, and these baskets help to make it so. Yay. Thanks!.
No matter how they're washed, the covers shrink: (This was only used once).
These are exactly what they say they are, and they are well constructed. The linings are excellent. This purchase has made me very happy.
This is a fantastic solution. The sourdough boule emerges easily after a dusting of rice flour. With just a few taps on the bottom, the excess falls into the sink, making it simple to clean. For sourdough baking, I recommend this product.
It's great that the linen covers are included.
They are fantastic.
