Growing up in the north of France, Le Creuset was right next door to me. A cast iron foundry still stands on the site of the original foundry. This means that their cookware is entirely made of cast iron Nothing else is manufactured in the United States. French cuisine cannot possibly be manufactured in this country.
There are no ideas in my head. Even so, I do want to mention that this glaze is so smooth that nothing actually sticks. The quality of this La Creuset product is excellent, just like all my other La Creuset bakeware.
I agree! You should ensure that you check the size when you buy as there is a larger 9 inch version (normal size) and a smaller single serving version (5 inch, I believe). You can use the smaller ones for individual desserts and mini quiches.
