Questions & Answers
I would only eat one if it was deep dish pie. It will work for two days if it's regular.
They're a great product that my wife uses every day.
An average sized marble, large pearl, or round bean would be about the size.

All of the ceramic balls were intact when they arrived. They are very easy to store and clean. Use this recipe for one deep dish pie crust or two.
There were no cracks in any of the weights, they were all uniform in size. I rinsed and dried them thoroughly and used them in a plum tart. I washed and rinsed in soapy water, again dried thoroughly and put them You see how easy it is! My heart would beat faster if I had to buy them again.
I didn't use pie weights before. My main reasons for picking these were the storage container and the fact that I have a place to safely store them, but I'm also so glad I finally got them. You'll surely be able to use them quite a bit.
It was misleading to see the pictures of this product. According to the design, it looks like you will receive a generous quantity that will completely fill your crust. To give the illusion of smaller crusts, pictures of their pies have much smaller crusts than a normal pie. There is just no point in faking it anymore. Despite the fact that the beads cover only the bottom of my nine, they seem to do the trick. In a 5" pie shell, there were not enough sides to support it. The reason they only earned three stars is because of this. Every ceramic pie weight bead inside is porous, and gets oily and smelly after a while, so it must be thrown away. As far as prices are concerned, these are the same as the cheaper ones. As a result, if I had the choice, I would opt for two of the less expensive brands We are done. The bread I bake is not as good as it once was, so I won't return, but wanted to notify everyone. You will need two of these beads if you need enough beads to fill a 9" pie plate, along with enough beads to support the crust sides. The containers are 2 pounds each.
I give it a 2 out of 5. The ceramic beans weighed two pounds, only one of them was misshaped.
The sides of the pie do not collapse. The perfect size for a 9" pie crust. The beads were all intact and were not chipped or broken. Having rinsed them off beforehand, I put them into the dishwasher. This is a very easy to clean product. Product of high quality.
These products work great and produce beautiful crusts. They also store nicely in the cabinet when not in use. I highly recommend this book!.
The bag of pennies (kind of gross) or beans (they start to crumble after a few uses) became too gross for me to use as a substitute. As soon as I saw the video, I knew I had to try them. It made sense that any company that took that much time to make a useful video, instead of just a sales video full of "bling", probably made a good product. There has been no disappointment for me. It was delivered quickly and in good condition. I easily fit the container in my cabinet because it is sturdy, compact and fits well. As long as you do not mind things sitting out on the counter, it is attractive enough to set Air holes on the top allow them to be vented in order to prevent mold growth. In addition to the weights, there is a small instruction booklet that can be stored inside the container. It took a 9-inch pie pan to prepare a quiche. I baked the cake in a 5 x 2" fluted pan, and it turned out A warning There are some pretty little weights here, and I would be cautious around children who are putting everything in their mouths since these look intriguing and can be a choking hazard. But that goes for many things, and these should be fine with care and attention.
