I plan to bake a quiche with this pan for my first use. How should I prepare the pan before putting the crust in it? Do I need to grease it with butter or spray it with cooking spray?

A couple of uses and it broke. One meat pie was baked in it before Christmas after I ordered this in the holidays. I lost over $20 of ingredients and three hours of work when I completely shifted the bottom of the pan. I wouldn't recommend it.

It's pretty and a great size, and I loved it when I got it. It has worked for me until tonight after being used 5 or 6 times without problem. Four of the cracks are in the middle. The oven was set at 350°F and it cracked in four separate places.

This is a very nice, solid looking product. There is a significant depth difference than you will find in online recipes therefore, your baking time will need to be adjusted accordingly. It is heavy, like everything like this, so you should pick up both hands to wash it. In addition, it is not possible to set up a pre-requisite To use the oven, let it heat up for a little bit. The piece gives a beautiful presentation and is of good quality, although it does have the aforementioned shortcomings.
