Attempting to lift the cheesecakes out would be very difficult, because I do believe the mess would be very messy. The bottom of the pan can be pushed up to allow the cheesecakes to be removed in one piece in a special pan for this purpose.
As of yet, I haven't found it to be an issue, but then, none of my food has 'overflowed' the seam to the point where I would have to reposition it.

It has a non-stick surface, so stuff just pops off the surface. Any non stick surface should be able to hold its shape, but won't it change over time? Right? We can always hope, can't we? These pans are currently on sale for a great price. After I made the order, I received my pans the very next day. This is amazing! This set of pans was also a dream come true. Their heavy design, even cooking, nonstick, and easy cleaning make them a favorite. Negative comments always occur to me, as I see it. Make your decision based on common sense if this is really their problem or if it is a problem with the product.
