Questions & Answers

Cookies can be made in this, but has anyone tried ?

A beautiful jumbo-sized chocolate chip cookie pie is what I make. You won't feel too fat on it and it's not too flat. These cookies are the perfect size and are chewy and sweet. The cookie dough is rolled into a ball and I put a little bit under 4 oz in Anyone who is interested in seeing the photos is welcome to look at them. For a catered event yesterday (May 15, 2016), I made these for lunch. I appreciate it! Lewis, a GI

What is the diameter of the cup size?

It states in the product description that the cups are 3 1/2 inches in diameter by 2 inches in height. At the bottom, they are 3 1/2 inches deep and at the top, they are 4 inches deep.

Do you think this is too shallow to use to make English muffins? Which is deeper, the shallower or the deepest?

However, I have used it to make hamburger buns, but I have not used it to make English muffins. It works like a charm! The pan is lovely, and it has a deep side of about 1/2 inch.

The pan originally known as the Yorkshire Pudding pan is this the same?

The item was purchased today and it has already been used. Though I thought they turned out okay, I attribute it to my inexperience with shallower pans. They came out in their full Yorkie majesty. A 428°F and married berries recipe is used. I use a half inch deep bowl with a 3 inch diameter. There is no need for a "half cupcake" size. I want a bread pudding size.

The coating rating has been updated from 5 stars to 1**** due to major issues
3/5

Buy it. DO NOT buy it. An issue with the coating has been identified Several layers of the coating have blistered and peeled Here are my previous reviews so that you can see what I've written previously. Posted on March 17, 2017, this is an update. Supposedly I had ten pans in the house, but all of them have As a note These items have never been put in a dishwasher, they have never been heated beyond 300 degrees, and the only tools they have seen are soft silicone spatulas. As well as greasing the pans, I greased the oven. Their ages ranged from less than 6 months to one year. After my last attempt, I tried to contact the company however, I was unsuccessful I sent them an email, but they ignored it It was no longer possible to find the phone number on the company's previous website. Having learned that the company was sold, it is clear a new customer service approach will be adopted, and I anticipate a new supplier to be identified. Two months after I received the first one, I received a second pan that had been damaged A chipped coating and bent metal caused the coating to be damaged. Since the pans were defective, Amazon took care of the issue, and I now have Wilton mini pie pans on hand. It has only been used once so far, but it seems to be working. They are much heavier, and their coating has a much deeper craze. The cloud breads fall out of the pan since they are more with the pan than with the pan itself. As of yet, there are no sticking issues. Mini pie pan dimensions are slightly different, but they work fine. Below is a list of previous reviews It is a terrific product! The Chicago Metallic pans are more lightweight than my other Chicago Metallic pans, but they still work great! The quality is excellent and they work great! Not at all It is coated with a stickiness. "), and they don't stick to the wall. It usually pops out of the pan when the bread is done. I have used them both with butter and without butter, and both work fine. The following is a useful Place the pan in a warm oven and allow to dry for a couple of hours. In this fashion, you'll avoid rusting issues. Do not let these pans sit in water, either while they are in the sink or after they have been Take a look! The Chicago Metallic customer service team was able to offer advice. I found the problem with one of my pans (all of my other types of pans from them work fine). It's great to have them! It took me less than a week for them to send me a new pan. Please do not return the old pan. There are no questions to be The photos I had were great. Their desire for them was not there. They were so responsive that I could hardly believe it. I applaud them (and thank them) for their efforts! ******** ********.

An example side-by-side comparison of Norpro and Chicago Metallic muffin top pans
5/5

In the last few days, I bought 2 muffin One from Chicago Metallic and one from this one. Because I took quite a bit of time deciding between the two pans, I thought I'd post this review to help anyone else make the right decision. Now that you're familiar with the pans themselves, I think you'll agree that the quality and cups depth are similar. The finished product does differ slightly from my Norpro review due to the difference in design. My photos of my results are attached to that The Norpro pan has rounded sides to its cups, whereas the Chicago Metallic pan has an angled bottom edge with straight As a result of the Chicago Metallic pan being baked at the same time and in the same oven, rotating halfway through baking, the GFDF sandwich rolls rose more loftily than those made with the regular pan. In this case, it might be a capacity issue. By measuring the amount of water each can hold, I was able to determine what each can hold. 85 grams of water can be stored in Norpro cups. 102 grams of Chicago Metallic can be found in the Chicago Metallic. Although the results might be the same if the same amount of batter is put into each pan, I am not sure the results would be as consistent. During the filling process, I only filled them to their appearance of fullness. It took both pans almost an hour for the tops to get even slightly golden on the bottoms. There are no chemicals in my product You can spray them on with a stick spray. There is no need to Having said that, after reviewing the two pans, I would rate the Norpro pan 4 stars and the Chicago Metallic 5 stars. I noticed that the pans produced the same results when it came to sourdough hamburger buns, however, with much less browning on the bottom. I wish you all the best in your baking endeavors.

This set of pans is great
5/5

Two of the items were purchased by me. The pan has been used heavily every week for less than a month and I really enjoy it. My family and I use it most often to prepare breakfast in advance for the next day. Several breakfast items such as eggs, pancakes, banana bread, and toast were served Bread with corn. If you use this pan for the first time, make sure you keep an eye out. A whole batch of cornbread was burnt because I followed a poster's instructions to follow the time. All I have to do is cook everything for just about 10 minutes. As soon as I put the pans side by side in my oven, I can make several batches of any kind of food in such a short period of time. For example, I make pancake batter as usual and fill each well with about two tablespoons of mixture to ensure perfect size In the case of too many, I either freeze them or keep them in a container for the week. In addition, I can confirm that each well will hold 1 extra large egg, so you can use it to make English muffin sandwiches or This pan is the best! I love it! The letter P. To lubricate the wells, I rub a small amount of cooking spray into them. So far, I haven't had any sticking issues, but I just wanted to make sure I don't get them in the future. In the three months since I bought them, I've used them every single week. The cooking spray I need is definitely needed. In the past, when I have forgot to spray the pan, the eggs have stuck and were very difficult to remove from the pan. I am not convinced that the eggs would stick to the pans, but even if they did they could be easily cleaned without scrubbing, which could ruin the pan. The only thing I need to clean it is a sponge or rag soaked in soap. It still does what I expected it to, which is why I didn't decrease the stars for the ease of cleaning. The cooking isn't affected by the spots that discolor but it appears to have affected the taste.

We've been using it for keto breads for years now and it's an invaluable tool. In this way, the perfect shape is created. Super easy to clean and nonstick. We are glad we gave it a try.
