The cup size for a 6 inch soup is 4 cups. 5 inches seems to be the size of the 2 cup.
The instructions state that four lids are included.

It has been through dishwasher cycles, microwave sessions, and numerous times having to peel it on and off of the bowl. Out of the 12 bowls I ordered back in March 2016, this is the second from the left. The lids I have left are all empty. As of today, September 7, 2016, it is only 907 a. m. As you can see in the images, every lid suffered the same fate. Initially, only a small tear was visible on the lip of the lid, but quickly spread across the entire lid a short time later. On the seams of the lids where it seems the two halves were attached, most of the tears were seen. This was not the case for all of them. The seam of the jacket is not torn as seen in the image posted with this review. As you can see in the second image, where my fingers are located is the seam. In spite of my reluctance to throw away all the Pyrex plates I already have, I am forced to order more of these HORRIBLE lids because Pyrex appears to have cheated their lids to the point where they are useless. I am the owner of PYREX Technologies. It's time for somebody to solve this problem, since the originals lasted 100x longer than these cheaply made replacements. MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE!.
When I was a kid, Pyrex products were my favorite. Today, the covers for their phones are made of cheap plastic materials that tear quickly. In the past few months, I have spent a great deal of money on cheap plastic cover replacements, but I finally ran out. The Pyrex products I used to buy are no longer available. The only problem with plastic is that it is expensive and horrible to use. In other words, they use cheap materials in order to nickel and dime us so we buy more to replace them. I can easily see this not lasting long due to such a gimmick. The fact is that buyers and customers are not stupid enough to fall for this gimmick repeatedly.
When I first purchased my Pyrex storage bowls, I was frustrated by the fact that I had to replace the lids so soon. are in good working order, but are also easily damaged. It seems that the dishwasher is no longer safe for them, since they can't handle the heat very well. Additionally, the new bowls and lids are almost as costly as the original ones.
My pyrex glass storage containers are beautiful, but I needed some replacement lids as the ones I have have worn out over time. I was able to replace the lids with these pyrex ones. Though it is a bit more expensive than I would like, because you can usually get a full pyrex set for less, I feel like I am being more environmentally friendly. You can find their size number on the old lids if you're not sure. They're a step up from pyrex round glass containers, but seriously, look on your lids for the size number first.
A few months ago, I ordered some glass Pyrex bowls from Amazon along with the same lids. It is already starting to tear at the edges of some lids. That sounds interesting. The impression is not good. It is better to recycle them than get rid of them Instead of buying replacements, I purchased new ones. A good seal is present on these. The weather will tell how long they last, but at least I have a back-up plan Thanks for updating.
It was time to replace our orange cup covers, so we chose these. Despite the fact that we bought the glassware decades ago, only the orange covers have ripped over the years. New glass containers are now available, which should extend the life of the old ones by.
Replacement lids were needed because we use these almost daily and the old ones were cracked. As a result of the new ones, they will last as long as the old ones, but maybe with a few extra years together.
I received the 2 cup size lids and they work perfectly. Perfectly suited to each other. The fact that a reputable company like Pyrex doesn't make lids with a longer lifespan for their storage bowl sets is surprising. Thank you for sending my storage bowls some new lids, as now I can continue to use them.
