Despite the fact that they are advertised as such, after I ran mine through the dishwasher, water accumulated in the bottom (in the rubber non slip piece) and slowly leaked out into my kitchen My next step was to wash them by hand.
There are three bowls - the large bowl is 11 inches across and 5 inches tall, the medium bowl is 9 1/4 inches across and 4 3/4 inches high, and the small bowl is about 7 1/2 inches across and 4 inches high. This large bowl works perfectly for storing all the dishes. This is THE BEST mixing bowl we have ever used!
However, I am not aware of where they are made. I can say with certainty that they are very high quality. Previously, I had assumed that the USA was the case.
Despite the fact that lids were not offered with the set, it would have been a wonderful addition. In that case, I think I will research it further.

As my heavy glass mixing bowls lose weight, I am seeking to replace them with something light and compact.
