What is the capacity or measurement of the corn on the cob ears?

The bags are approximately 9 inches wide and 9 inches long. 1/2 by 9- 1/2 of an inch The bags work great, but the material is thinner than ZipLock brand. I haven't used them for corn yet, but they could probably hold three to four ears depending on size.

Is there enough room for a cob of corn?

Yes, most likely. However, the best way to cook corn on the cob in the microwave is to wrap it in a damp paper towel and microwave it for 2 minutes. I use my bags to cook broccoli, asparagus, and fish, and they always come out perfectly. Seasoned and cooked for 1 1/2 minutes, salmon is delicious!
