At 400 degrees, I made canele de Bordeaux with them. A steam bath, I believe, would be enough to kill them.
I don't have an exact measurement, but the recipe I use (Dorie Greenspan's) yields about 40 mini caneles. It would make a few more, but because I have two molds (20 each), I fill them to the brim.
20x17 is the size of the tray. 5 cm. The carvity is 3cm long. I've used the m numerous times; the quality is good, but you must handle it with care, and the greasy surface is difficult to clean.

Canelés are delicious, but they're time-consuming to make. These molds are reasonably priced (especially when compared to copper molds). These canelés that I made came out beautifully! Others had noted that the ones in the center were slightly undercooked compared to those on the edges. I'll try to separate them to see if there's a difference, but they're all fantastic in their own right. These silicone molds are of excellent quality. They can't be flimsy. This book comes highly recommended.

For caneles, this isn't an option. Even after 15 minutes at 500 degrees Fahrenheit and an hour at 375 degrees Fahrenheit, they do not brown.
This year, I wanted to make caneles for Christmas but didn't want to spend the money on copper molds. I reluctantly bought this one, expecting it to be "OK," but I was pleasantly surprised, and I ended up with lovely little pastries that were the star of the baked gift baskets I gave to friends and neighbors.
They came out just as I had hoped! It's the perfect size and easy to take off. A toaster pan was the perfect fit for the mold. After that, I'm going to experiment with layered shots. I'm confident they'll be stunning. Thank you for your prompt service, as well!.
This item is ideal for creating miniature versions of yourself. caneles. I used Dorie Greenspan's recipe, and the caneles turned out perfectly dark and bite-sized. Elastomoule products are fantastic.
Excellent mold made of high-quality silicone. It's worth noting that these are small cakes, probably too small for cannelles. The following-day delivery is not available on Amazon. Unfortunately, DeBuyer doesn't have a size larger mold.
I was looking for inch cannele molds and these came up in a search, but I didn't pay attention to the size, so I'm not sure how good they are or how well they work. I don't believe the price was fair for what you get - teeny- tiny. I'll be returning it. It was entirely my fault. I wish I had the financial means to purchase copper. Maybe once a month or so, I'll buy one or two copper coins.
