Questions & Answers

Why does it only add up to nine instead of twelve?

Because you purchased a 9-count machine rather than a 12-count machine.

Is it possible to make a cake from scratch?

Yes, I made something in the neighborhood of 81. Cake pops in the number of 99 It took some time, but it was well worth the effort. The recipe on the box was not altered in any way. It was also great because I didn't have to keep re-oiling the pan.

What is included in the box with this purchase?

maker of popsicles I'd buy the regular-sized cake pop maker if you have the option. It's tough to work with the mini one.

What is the number of donut holes in a cake mix? Is the cake mix required to be used all at once?

I'm not sure how many cake pops a cake mix makes, but you must use the entire cake mix on the same day, if not the same hour.

BUY THIS! I'm so glad I bought this instead of making cake pops by hand because I was able to make over 100 in under 2 minutes
5/5

5 hours (non-decorated, naturally). Future users should keep the following two points in mind: Make use of the recipes in the booklet that comes with the purchase. There's less water in it now, and it's the perfect consistency! And, for perfectly rounded pops, fill the cake pop holes 3/4 full with a ziplock bag with a corner cut out.

I failed miserably in my attempt to Pop
3/5

I purchased this item based on Baby Cake's reviews, which I now doubt. I can't believe I'm the only one who's had this problem if they bought the same product, so in order to avoid being labeled "user error," I made several "pops" using several different approaches, wasting good cake batter in the process. The outcome was always the same: the maker never produced a complete ball. Because the maker's top did not fill up enough to make a complete ball, all of the "pops" came out flat on one side (the top). Nothing worked with a light amount, a heavier amount, a lighter batter overall, a heavier batter (wouldn't recommend trying this; stick to the cake box directions). Not only did I always end up with half-moon balls, but they were also extremely small. They were about the same size as the dum dum lollipops found in bank lobbies, to give you a better idea. I thought this maker would be simple to use and give me more time to work on other things, but it was not worth the time, effort, and money I spent on it. Rather, it ended up costing me more than the machine itself in the long run. After all was said and done, I needed to buy cake pops for my holiday party. Make your cake pops the old-fashioned way instead of using this machine. Alternatively, you can purchase them in the old-fashioned way.

It's simple to use and produces perfect cake pops
5/5

My 18- year- For the birthdays of family friends, my 12-year-old daughter has been baking cupcakes, cake pops, and cakes. My one friend requested beach-themed cake pops, and my daughter had never made cake pops before, so we did some research and found this cake pop maker that was both affordable and well-reviewed on Amazon. The cake pops came out beautifully; they were the perfect shape and color. It doesn't make a lot of cake pops at once, but because it's so simple to make, we just made multiple batches and they all turned out the same. This is a product I would recommend.

Cake pops that are just right
5/5

First and foremost, this mini cake pop maker is an absolute lifesaver! I used to make cake pops the traditional way, with crumbled cake and frosting, then rolling them into balls, but the whole process took far too long, so I decided to invest in this machine, which eliminates the need to worry about the consistency of the cake pop and the frosting (when it's too moist, the cake pop will break through the lollipop stick, and it can also break when you coat your chocolate due to the weight-- It's a pain! br>br>The first time I used this machine, I made brownies from a box mix, which was a disaster. The brownies would stick to the nonstick plate no matter how much I rubbed/sprayed cooking spray on it, so the second time I used a store-bought cake mix box and they turned out perfectly! There was no need to grease the plates because they popped out in perfect shape! When I put too much cake batter in the maker, it would overflow, leaving extra cake scraps, but they were easy to remove. Some of the balls had "Saturn" rings around them, which I left alone without trimming the edges because they weren't too noticeable and gave the cake pop a natural lollipop look. Finally, I used Wilton Candy Melts from Walmart, Michaels, or Joann's to coat my cake balls. Advantages: br>br> br>Easy to usebr>Easy to cleanbr>Produces extremely fast cake pops! (3- br>br>Cons: br>br>5 minutes for a batch)br>br> br>Because the machine gets extremely hot, always touch the handle to open and close it. br>br>Overall, I had a positive experience with this machine. My pops (with the brownie mix) failed, so I wasn't too pleased with this machine at first. However, isn't it true that practice makes perfect? They came out perfect the second time (as shown in my photos when I used cake mix), so don't be discouraged if you fail the first few times; you'll need to get the hang of it first. It's also a good idea to test the machine and the cake balls before deciding to make cake pops for any occasion.

If you want to learn how to make cake pops, this book is a must-have
5/5

I've been putting off learning how to make cake pops for quite some time. I've never been overly enthusiastic about them because when I want cake, I just want cake. Cake is on my mind! With pops, a cake, and cupcakes, I thought I could make a treat table. So, if I'm going to learn how to make cake pops, it has to be as simple as possible, or I'm not going to do it. So, after reading the reviews and watching the tutorials, I decided to purchase this cake pop maker. It arrived in good condition and on time. After reading the instructions, I decided to try it. I started by washing it, as instructed. To cover the pops, I simply used a store-bought cake mix and candy melts. Before using the maker, the instructions state that it should be sprayed. Wilton cake spray was used for this project. It was extremely effective! The batter was never able to stick to the mold. Each cavity should receive 1/2 tablespoon of batter, according to the recipe. This is exactly what I did, and it was a huge success. It also stated that they should be baked for three hours. The time limit is five minutes. My batter seemed to be ready in three minutes. I made six cupcakes and 65 cake pops with the cake mix I used. I liked that I didn't have to turn on the oven and that the pops cooled while I worked on the next batch. If you want to try your hand at cake pops, I recommend using this maker. It simplified the task and eliminated the need to guess how long the pops should be cooked. It does need to be washed by hand. It would be nice if decorating the pops was as simple.
