It's all smooth sailing. There are no rough spots on the cake. I used it for a wedding I've had a longer career than most
You must be able to do it. Almost all of the buttercream is used for buttercream and the cake must have many layers.

I am a professional baker and this was perfect. It was this one that I tried after a lot of research. This is the best deal I've ever had- My cake decorating time was cut in half with this amazing tool! The exchange would have been better if I had done so.
My cakes have always been difficult to smooth, so I bought this product at a good price and just used it on my first cake. After I used it for the first time it was perfect.
It is very common for me to bake cakes. The smaller metal scraper was awkward, but the larger one feels awkward to hold. I've been trying to achieve very sharp edges on my cake, but I've found this to be cumbersome to use. The 2 layer cake may have affected the flavor, since I used it.
Its design seems to indicate that it is intended for using with a three- or four-layer cake or a taller cake. I was not able to make sharp edges with it, like with a smaller metal scraper. Then I started to use that again. Hopefully, as time passes and I become more familiar with it, I will be able to use it better.
I will not disappoint you! There was a lot of pain involved. I only have a small complaint about them, which is that they are high-maintenance. This means that they are easily chipped or cracked. Due to this issue, I'm about to order my third one. I just need to treat it like a princess and use tweezers.
On sale for a limited time only In any case, it was a happy experience for me. This device has a chip in it which is what I'm unhappy about. No idea if or how it will affect the cakes since I haven't used it yet.
