Cakes with a high level of height will not scrape with this. It's probably 6 inches tall. Most tall cakes would be able to be scraped with Wilton's scraper that stands 9 inches tall.
Usually, I do not smooth out a piece of paper
There may be a noticeable difference when it comes to the edge design. The four sided one is my personal preference simply because it is more reliable and less likely to be unbalanced. On the other hand, with the triangular ones, it can be more challenging.
In this case, the first answer makes sense to me. There is about a 6 inch difference in length.

As such, when I saw in the product description that this cake smoother/scraper had a rating of 10, I decided to purchase it. There are 9 times 5 in the number 9. The product of 1 and 0 is 1. Having purchased the cake smoother I wanted in a size of five inches, I thought I had found what I needed. However, the answer is no. There are 10 packages in the package. There are 9 times 5 in the number 9. The product of 1 and 0 is 1. This is 5 inches long. There are two smoothers, one 5" by 4", and one 5" by 6".
Smoothing the icing with this icing smoother is definitely a good idea. My cake decorating skills are still developing, but it was this tool that allowed me to achieve a perfectly smooth finish. I realized that it was harder than I thought, but with the right tools (offset spatula, icing smoother) and lots of practice, I can do it! In the event it had been taller and wider, I would have given it five stars. As long as your cakes are not too tall, it will work great. Considering that I will be using taller layers, perhaps I won't have to use the shorter sides of the icing smoother to achieve that combed look. When I make my cake, I usually use two layers. But sometimes I use four layers so I bought an 8-layer pan I got my tape measure from Home Depot and it was about an inch. However, I am still planning to use it for my two layered cakes. This chocolate cake is gorgeous, I just love the way it The photos I've uploaded can be seen here.
The shapes shown here are formed by cutting sheet metal into the desired shapes. The gauge is pretty thick and it is finished nicely. The construction seems to be pretty solid. As far as quality is concerned, I have no complaints. You should be able to use them fine if you know how to do so. The teeth on the opposing side of the flat one can poke your hand and can be uncomfortable to use as I guess I am just not a fan of how they look. theory, it would be nice to be able to use multiple tools in one place, but for me it didn't work. The flat side is what I use the most, so I went with another brand that I liked better and was thicker. I remember that one also had a handle on it, so maybe if this one had a handle and I poked my hand it wouldn't be an issue (but it doesn't Not bad overall, but it wasn't what I was looking for. You can definitely use it I just went with another brand and spent more money. Still, it's a good piece of hardware from a good brand, so you can definitely use it. Though I will keep these two tools, just because it is nice to have so many options in just one pair of.
We are dealing with a metal tool here. For example, a flat side might be used for smoothing the frosting on a cake. In order to cover buttercream with fondant, it needs to be smoothed. It will be perfectly smooth on the other three sides, but will have a pattern instead. To give the cake a crust, follow the instruction to cover the cake with thick icing Take the smoother/comb and cover the iced surface with it by dipping it in hot water, shaking off excess water, and dragging it across. This technique is simple and direct. If you hold it at an angle, less icing will be removed Consider holding the tool perpendicular to the surface of the cake, against the icing on its patterned edge, folding the hand that holds the tool in toward the cake (keeping the edge in contact with the icing). Making the tool rectangular rather than square doesn't seem to have any obvious benefits, but the two long sides of the tool will easily cover a standard two-inch diameter wheel Layer cake side. The small sides may need to be drawn against the icing twice, once on the top cake and once at the bottom cake. This item was initially mistaken for acrylic plastic, and I am happy to learn it is in fact metal that will stand the test of time. Heavy force is necessary to bend it, but not regular use will cause it to bend.
I failed to realize the significance, which is my fault. Having a tendency to cut myself is something I see happening to me when I am accident prone. It is a must have for anyone who decorates in any way. It does not matter how skilled you are. A little practice will be needed to get it right the first time. If you have it at an angle and with how much pressure you have, it will break. My money was well spent and I'm sure I'll be able to use it in a big way.
The seller used false advertising, but the product worked as it was supposed to. Note that 10 is specifically stated. The width of the tub is 9 inches. On the longest side, it measures about 6".
I like how simple it is to use. There is a different pattern on each side of this light, sturdy bag. It is a good price point too. The dish isn't dishwasher-safe (there are a few "rainbow" stains on it), but it shouldn't be a big.
