The surface of the Wilton Perfect Results cake pans will be marred if you use a METAL utensil. It's best if you use a non-toxic cleaner. a utensil made of metal.
I suppose it could, but I prefer to wash my nice bakeware by hand.
It measures approximately 2 1/2 inches in depth.
I'm afraid I won't be able to assist you with this because I've never done it before. I know it can go from the fridge to the oven without issue because I've done it before, but I'm not sure about the freezer. Try it and let me know how it goes.

This pan is well worth the money you put into it. It doesn't matter where it was made as long as it's well-made. It's a large pan with excellent nonstick properties. Even if the food you cook in it sticks a little, it cleans up beautifully. I've used it to bake brownies, cornbread, chicken, and other foods, and it's always come out clean. This bake pan is one of my favorites.
A small dent in the bottom of the pan will not affect the baking process. As stated on the packaging, the handles do not have any dimensions embossed on them. The pan is sturdy and well-made in general, but it is not true to size. br>br>Amazon purchased product that does not meet Amazon's usual high standards.
I've recently resumed baking and discovered that my old round cake pans had deteriorated over time, so I borrowed my neighbor's, who happened to have these Wilton pans. Before pouring in the cake batter, I sprayed them with Pam, and they turned out better than any cake I'd ever made! They were evenly cooked and slipped right out of the pan when I turned them out to cool. I took note of the pans' name and size, then went on Amazon to look for a set of my own, which I did. I not only found them, but they were also very reasonably priced! I've become obsessed with baking cakes, and as a grandmother, it seems only natural to have a delicious cake on hand whenever the grandchildren visit. Neither does my husband appear to mind. ) They were very easy to clean and have made baking a lot more enjoyable.
Update: After several uses, my enthusiasm for this pan waned as the nonstick results became less noticeable. Even with generous greasing, the frittata I'm referring to below is now sticking pretty badly. Original review: br>br> Perfection must resemble the delectable baked frittata I prepared in this pan. I've also used it to bake corn bread, which necessitated a baking pan of this size, and both baked evenly and perfectly. I had been using a Pyrex baker for some frittatas, and while it worked well, this pan was superior. I did grease the pan lightly to aid release, and both the frittata and the corn came out easily. It's something I'd highly recommend!.
This was purchased in order to make a batch of brownies. The pan arrived without any dents, which I noticed in a few of the other reviews was a concern. As a result, it arrived in perfect condition. The brownies turned out to be a success. There was no warping or anything during the baking process, so there was nothing to complain about. Nothing stuck to the pan, which made cleaning a breeze. I've also used a Wilton loaf pan, which has worked well. It's a great brand, and it's a great set of pans.
Because I don't bake many cakes, the dent isn't a significant issue. I would have been very disappointed with the condition of the pan I received if I needed to make pretty, even cakes that could be stacked and decorated. I have a number of Wilton pans that I adore. I'm guessing this was a result of a shipping or storage mishap. (It took a lot of force. ) ) I can live with the pan as is because I mostly use it to make cut-in-piece desserts. Another disadvantage is the fact that it is not possible to get a copy of the book. It is very easy to scratch the stick coating.
Dishwasher safe, but the soap "packs" are not. However, it's simple to wash by hand, which I prefer. I looked at a lot of 8x8 pans before choosing Wilton, and it's heavier weight metal than I expected for the price. Many of them appear to be overpriced and labeled with a fancy name. I'm very pleased with this pan, and I anticipate that it will serve me well for a long time. My previous Wilton was lighter in weight than this one, and it served me well for 40 years before becoming too scratched to use.
I do wash it by hand every now and then. I also use a dishwasher to clean it. When cutting my treats, I try to use a plastic knife and insist that others use one as well. This prevents the pan's surface from being scratched. I'd buy this pan again in a heartbeat. It is my preferred method of transportation. to the manufacturer of an 8"x 8"pan! For my 9"x13" pans, cookie sheets, cupcake pans, loaf pans, and pretty much every other pan I own, I prefer to use this brand!!.
