To scratch this pan, you'd have to cut extremely hard and with an extremely sharp knife. All of my bakeware and pots and pans are stainless steel.
I'm forwarding the following response from someone else: A: br>br>B: br>br>C: br>br>D: 304, according to my understanding, is an 18/8 steel. I spoke with a Norpro representative, and the bakeware I was interested in was either 18/4 or 18/0, both of which are less corrosion-resistant. 18/10 or 18/8 are more resistant. Nothing acidic should be cooked in 18/0, according to one source. As a result, you can make a decision based on that. If you call Norpro, they will be very helpful. It is made of high-quality stainless steel. It will work in any oven temperature in the kitchen. Stainless steel melts at temperatures between 1400 and 1450 degrees Celsius, or 2552 and 2642 degrees Fahrenheit!
You should be able to do it, I believe.

When you compare the cost of this pan to the cost of ordinary coated steel pans, it's a bargain. When you invert the pan and don't scratch the polished finish with sharp utensils and use cooking spray, the food just falls out. My wife has SST muffin pans that I purchased for her 24 years ago and that she uses once a week. br>This pan can be washed in the dishwasher and comes out looking brand new.
This was purchased to replace a previous pan that was nearly identical. Years had passed since the first pan had been used. Its frequent use was evidenced by numerous scratches and dents. I last saw it around this time last year, when I gave it to a young relative who'd come by in a panic after making brownie batter and realizing too late that she didn't have an 8 X 8 pan. It never made it home, and I didn't bother her about it because I had a second one. I'll need two for the holidays, so I was overjoyed to discover that Amazon still had the same pan available. I couldn't ask for anything more than a product that is reasonably priced, well-made, and long-lasting. This book comes highly recommended.
This is a cake pan that measures 8 X 8 inches. It's neither 8X8- nor 8X8- It also doesn't work for "cakes" or, in my case, cornbread (closer to 7" on the bottom, 7 1/2 " on the top edge). Even after more than doubling the time and baking at a higher temperature, my cornbread was not done to my liking. Even though the pan was properly greased, it would not release from the pan, possibly due to the mirror-like finish. There were also two small cut-type dents on the pan, one of which was quite deep. The pan did not have the Stainless Steel stamp that I have on all of my other stainless cookware. I have other brushed finish SS bread pans (Vollrath made in Sheboygan WI, Style 7203) that bake bread perfectly, release properly, and so on, so I don't believe these are true stainless. Roasting vegetables would be a great use for this pan. When examined in the light, the finish also has some machine scarring marks, and I'm not sure if they'll get worse with more use.
I've purchased two of these. They're not for baking cakes in (which is what they're really for), but for storing pot pies and my 5-pound bag of frozen vegetables. Garlic bread with cheese, frozen It's incredibly durable and strong! It's fantastic. I find it simple to clean. It's great that it's not a non-profit organization. stick. When you need them, they're great, but they're not always necessary. So, if you're looking for a good, strong, and NOT non-toxic cleaning product, look no further. This is a good square pan to get if you don't want to use a stick.
I was overjoyed to discover this inexpensive little pan as a replacement for some aluminum bakeware. The interior opening that holds your food is only 7 inches square, despite the fact that it measures 8 inches from edge to edge. If you're baking for a family, you might want to get more than one or just go with something bigger. This pan is fine for baking one- or two-person quickbreads or treats, or for a side dish to go with a meal, in my opinion. br>br>I'm not a fan of aluminum pans because of health concerns and Alzheimer's disease, and it's difficult to clean aluminum without scratching it unless you soak it for a long time; I prefer being able to scrub the pan with a Brillo. br>br>Another great feature of this pan is that it fits perfectly in my Cuisineart toaster oven, allowing me to save money on energy by not having to use the larger oven. br>br>Another thing I'd like to point out is that my pan does not appear to be perfectly square. It's a tad off-kilter. I believe the pan was made in China, which I'm not happy about, so I'm concerned about quality control issues, but in this case, finding an affordable stainless steel pan, which this is, was more important to me.
This pan's mirror finish looks amazing. With very little scraping, everything comes out of the pan easily. Like a high-quality steel frying pan, for example. There are no blemishes or scratches on it after at least ten uses. Many people, including myself, avoid non-alcoholic beverages. The answer is a nonstick coating and a pan like this.
I recently purchased a toaster oven large enough to bake a 12" pizza, so I was looking for pans to heat up other foods that I didn't want to put directly on the broiler pan, such as chicken or stuffed bell peppers. I feel safe using my Pyrex dishes to heat something with a lot of moisture in it, but I needed a container that wouldn't crack in the heat for dry items. I purchased an 8-pack of cigarettes. a 9-inch stainless steel cake pan, as well as a pie tin They're both just right for the oven. br>My initial impression was that they were much more sturdy and heavy than I had anticipated (which is a good thing). br>I've had them for a few weeks and am extremely pleased with my purchase. I rinse them out and then put them in the dishwasher as soon as they've cooled down. I sprinkle a little Comet on the wet pans (just like I do with my other stainless steel cooking pots and pans) and let them sit for a while if more stubborn food gets stuck on them; they still look brand new. These pans are a great deal for the money.
Sticking was not a problem for me. For the most part, it's exactly what I wanted, but there appear to be some manufacturing flaws - Because of the location, nature, and uniformity, it appears that the scratches on the inside occurred during production rather than during shipping. Because it isn't on the bottom and doesn't appear to affect cooking, I didn't think it was worth returning; however, it is a visible flaw, and it would be nice if they had better quality assurance to prevent defective items from being sold. It's a pity, because it appears to be a well-made product otherwise - As a result, I believe the "It's OK" rating of three stars is appropriate.
