Good morning,br>It's made of some kind of carbon steel, from what I recall. I've used it about ten times now, and cleaning it is a breeze. It's still in the same condition as when I first got it, and it appears to be brand new. As a result, it can now withstand the test of time. I hope you will find this information useful.

I chose these Rachael Ray loaf pans after my Martha Stewart loaf pans of 12 years finally gave up the ghost. I purchased two of these. I have a lot of Rachael Ray kitchenware and roasting pans, and they're great, but these are beyond frustrating. Every bread I've tried to make, 5 different tried and true recipes, every single loaf burns on the outside and is underdone on the inside. I read that dark aluminum pans should be turned down by 25 degrees in the oven. Same situation, except I had to cook for longer and my two banana nut loaves were burnt on the outside but raw on the inside. I bake for gifts during the holidays. I only have one silicone loaf pan, and what I baked in it with the same doubled recipe as these turned out perfectly, whereas these burned and were raw. They also rust, so they'll end up in the trash.
WHY IS THIS MY SECOND RACHEL RAY BREAD PAN? THESE PHOTOS SHOW WHY. THE BAKEWARE IS OF EXCELLENT QUALITY; QUICK CLEAN UP IS EASY, AND IT WITHSTANDS HIGH HEAT WITHOUT WARPING. PRODUCES A PRODUCT FOR WHICH ANY BAKER WOULD BE GRATEFUL. THE SMALL COLORED SECTIONS ARE HANDLES TO PREVENT BURNING OF THE HANDS, BUT A GOOD POT HOLDER IS RECOMMENDED. GREAT RECIPES MAKE GREAT TASTE, EVEN MORE SO WHEN COOKED IN A FAVORITE RESISTANT PAN.
It's a fantastic loaf pan, I must say. This pan is truly nonstick, so no non-stick spray is required. Use it to apply the backing spray.
Every morning, I have a banana smoothie with pound cake for breakfast. Pound cake is one of my all-time favorite desserts. I tried a few more loaf pans, including some that were quite expensive. My cake would break coming out of the pan even though I followed all of the instructions. After that, I went out and purchased a loaf pan. If I had the option, I would give it ten stars. After the cake has cooled, I simply place the loaf pan on the grill and it comes out perfectly. Even when the pan is hot, the handles of this loaf pan don't burn your hands. Look no further if you require a loaf pan. This is the best of all possible worlds.
I wish I could give it five stars, but I'm afraid I won't be able to. While the quality of these pans is excellent, the rust issue is unfortunate. It wouldn't be difficult to make this pan trim solid so that water doesn't accumulate and leave a rust trail. It should not happen, despite the fact that it wipes off easily. Simi has done an excellent job with these. Rachel, the company that manufactures your name brand could do a little bit better. Even if you wash them, they rust. A simple fix that is a pain to get up under to dry because there is no rolling under the trim. There isn't a better pan on the market if you do it that way. You've priced them as if they're of higher quality. Still a fan of her products, but this could be improved. Dishwashers are extremely popular among modern women. Overall, I would recommend it.
I'll admit that I'm not a huge fan of Rachel Ray, but this pan is fantastic! Because of the dark coating, I bake banana bread once a week and flip it out perfectly every time! I bake at 25 degrees lower than the recipe calls for, use no oil or spray to prepare the pan, and always hand wash. In my 50 years of baking, I've used a lot of loaf pans, but this one is the best; I'd buy it again.
Just remember that because this is a dark pan, you'll need to lower your oven temperature by 25 degrees to ensure that your baked goods turn out perfectly!.
This pan is fantastic. It's easy to clean, and the loaves simply fall out! I bake bread almost every day, and I'm so glad I added this pan to my repertoire; I have a lot of pans, but this is by far my favorite. I'm not sure how long it'll last--I've only had it for a few months--but I'm hoping it will. However, it appears to be long lasting. The heat distribution appears to be ideal, and cleanup is a breeze, as I previously stated.
