There is no glass lid. The lid is With this set, I can put frostings and toppings above the top of the cake without having to worry about the lid messing up the toppings. The lid is higher than the top of the container, so I don't need to worry about messing it up.
As stated on the OXXO Good Grips website "OXXO Good Grips Glass Bowls are made from oven-safe glass" A freezer is a machine that freezes food Borosilicic acid also works well in microwaves. Therefore, they can be heated from 32 degrees Celsius (0 celcius) to 450 degrees Celsius (232 degrees Celsius) Let me explain to you a bit more about my engineering background with a metallurgical background. Temperature shock is a very important factor to consider when answering this question The difference between cold and Borosilicate glass (Pyrex) can withstand temperatures up to 900 degrees Fahrenheit on a technical level. There is very even heating, however, and the temperature rises very slowly and cools down very slowly. In industry, it's generally accepted for freezers to be used in ovens up to 470F, but you still need to be aware of temperature shock. Having to deal with extreme cold and This is what I recommend As a rule of thumb, I'd limit it to a 370 F oven when coming from a freezer. Considering that your fridge has a temperature limit of 450 F, I would follow OXXO's recommendation. Under no circumstances should this glass be broiler-baked! I would like to add one more piece GLASS THAT IS CAUSED BY CHIPPING SHOULD NEVER BE USED IN There will be a small crack or chip where a crack begins and the cookware is prone Here's what I hope will help you.

We have run it through the dishwasher one time. As soon as I took it out of the dishwasher, I noticed it had a large crack. It is an extremely disappointing experience.
My oven exploded last night after I cooked a lot of gluten free cheese ranch potatoes at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
My daughter and I bought an Oxo 9x13 baking dish in November. It's been a great year so far. This dish cracked in half when I used it in the oven for the first time this morning for an egg casserole dish. Only 350 degrees were being used in the oven, so it wasn't a high temperature. They contacted me right away and are sending a replacement free of charge, so customer service is excellent here. Even so, I am still very very disappointed in the quality of this company's product. I will be very very cautious when using the new one.
A second use caused the glass to shatter. During the roasting process I threw some root vegetables into this dish. A dozen pieces of that rocket shattered after it exploded on 425 after about 5 minutes. Due to the olive oil brushed on the veggies getting everywhere in the oven, I made a huge mess and smoked up the house. It was a beautiful dish and I loved the lid but as a result of all the bad reviews, I am not going to purchase it again.
The use of a high-end piece of equipment was exciting for me The brand new OXO baking dish I bought cracked in my oven after only two uses. The quality is good, but the price is high. My actions were in accordance with all safety guidelines, so I don't think it was I had already recycled the box and packing materials by now, and now that I know I can only get a refund if I return the damaged item, I opted to ship it It was not worth the cost of this dish, and I will replace it with a different brand of baking dish. But I won't be as confident about the products of OXO.
One of these was used, and I bought two of them. This container is saturated with food debris, stained with smear marks and has a cracked.
In the past, I used an earthenware bake pan to bake my desserts, and I would have continued doing so until the day that I was going to bring my mother a complicated dessert cake. I also wanted to be able to stack some items into it so I could carry them more comfortably. My current dish has no lid, so I'm not able to do this. Additionally, I am in love with my dish and didn't want to take the chance of it cracking or chipping in transit, so I searched for one with I had been wanting a bag with a lid for a while but longed to find the right one, but the rarity in which I travel with food made such a purchase difficult. I was happy to find this at a great price of $20 and from a brand
I'm addicted to this pan, and now I reach for it even if it's not on offer. Because it's lighter I do not have to ask my husband for help getting things into and out of the oven or to wash them in the sink since it is easier for me to handle. A small step towards independence after suffering severe injuries in a car accident that affected my neck and left me weak in my arms and hands (sometimes to the point of being unable to control them). Rather than having to go through aluminum foil or the like to store cakes or other treats, I find that it is much easier to use plastic bags. don't have to do anything else other than put on the lid that comes with it I like it a lot. As long as my food is clear enough, I don't have to worry about it pressing down on it. My spatula or other utensil can even stay in the pan with the food after half full so I can seal the lid without any problem. Although I prefer to hand wash things like this, I've had both the pan and lid go through my dishwasher a couple of times with no issues. I have not tried transferring it from one extreme to the other, but if I had to, I would not be scared. I did not mean the lid, I meant the pan. In the future, when I relocate and have more storage space, I will buy more. My only wish is that they would offer this in lots I would give up my current glass storage system and use theirs exclusively if they did.
So I ordered this 9x13 with lid from OXO because I thought it was a good brand. I tried to remove the lid to wash it before use and I discovered the lip had cracked into the sealing edge of the lid's edge. There is no use to it. I just don't think the material can handle the strain. In addition, I ordered an 8x8 which is the same brittle material and I have not even tried it yet. Initially, I thought this type of container would be more flexible and thicker than Pyrex or Anchor Hocking items like this. It would never have occurred to me to order these items if I had recognized.
