Two days after purchasing sticky blind savers for my vertical blinds, they slipped off I found these metal vane savers to be very effective at holding tightly after four days and suggest they would be useful I reduced the rating by one star due to the omission of directions. While installing the metal vane saver, it is advisable to firmly hold and support the end of the blind. A tight fit is evident.
It was a little tough to install the vertical slat, but I was able to repair it. It did, however, accomplish the goal.
You can save a TON of money with this repair kit and it is really easy to install. This makes them virtually invisible, but you have to order them in the correct color. They're easy to wear, but they have to be ordered in the right color.
A quick fix is made possible with these devices. Connect the blind by sliding them on the broken blind and tightening them with your pliers. A blade replacement is cheaper than buying a new one.
I couldn't install my blinds because the frame was way too tight. Since it was so difficult to get them in, they ripped more instead of repairing.
