The reason it hurts is there is no good product to replace the mediocre quality you find by doing what is obvious to many, when you get a box of that that'sounds" like a good product and they make you skim the line to just send it back and cut your expenses. As of now, I'm reluctantly keeping the two I bought to test before purchasing all 15 for the entire house, and I'm glad I did because it would have been an apocalyptic nightmare to go through this with all 15 of them. As of today (2020/01/27), purchasing the "Hub" for voice control is not even an option, indicating instead "not required," and getting these things into pairing mode or a WiFi signal has eluded yours truly, a former IT supervisor who knows how to follow instructions, write them, and decipher them. The product may be capable of connecting and performing as expected/described, but believe it or not (not that I care), I have no idea if what I have is Bluetooth, WiFi, or an older version of the product sent by mistake at this time. I've pieced together that there were previous versions of these motors with different connectivity options, and it appears that this is the finalized version with all the bells and whistles, given that it has options to reverse direction (press up, it goes down), and even operating modes such as long press the remote to activate full motion with small steps per press, or just press to activate full motion right. And, yes, I discovered this by trial and error, rather than because something told me to. Twelve hours without internet, no clarity on whether or not the provided "hub" is required, and conflicting messages from the user manual and manufacturer videos on YouTube. I'm keeping them as simple as possible, with no WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity. As I previously stated, it is physically painful to be so close! br>For what it's worth, they look nice, if a little noisy for the price. br>Beware of the small print on the manual; I had to use a loupe to figure out what some of the words meant. br>You end up drilling down to botches of ink on the images in your search for the source of the problem. br>Almost forgot, the remote in the printed manual is not the same as the remote you buy separately, which, by the way, comes with no dedicated instructions explaining, for example, that channel 0 controls all of them at the same time, whereas channels 1- 3 control them individually. Individual control and limit programming are both possible with 15, assuming you can program them in the first place. br>The image attached is a sneak peek at what you'll get if you decide to purchase. The written instructions direct you to download the "Smart Life" app, whereas the image depicts the "TuyaSmart" app. The remote controls, of course, are vastly different. br>Should you have the audacity to purchase, I wish you all the best. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> To add insult to injury, my public question about programming the product as a smart product was REMOVED after I requested a public link to a manual/instructions that would be useful for other potential buyers. Clearly, these people aren't interested in assisting, but rather in burying the problem. Here's my advice: think about where they came from before you buy them. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Motors began to run at different speeds after they were miraculously made to run. When they were first installed, they worked in tandem; limits were set for both upper and lower positions, and the blinds would open and close at the same time; however, over time, one of the motors began to run slower, and I decided it was time to recharge it. I let it run for a few weeks before recharging them, and I finally did so yesterday. No, the motors are still spinning at different speeds, and I'm guessing one of them will die soon. Stay away from this overpriced piece of junk, as well as any of the products mentioned by this inept company, I repeat my advice. Yoolax, Soluna, and Dooya are some of the other names that have been given to this creature. The garbage is the same, but the stench is different.

They contacted me right away after I made the purchase to double-check my measurements. Despite the fact that it was a non-essential item, the unit arrived quickly. It came well packaged with all necessary hardware, in perfect condition, and, best of all, well ahead of the estimated delivery time. Next week, I'll be mounting. If everything goes as well as it has, I'll be ordering at least 6 more of these for our two-person team. The lake can be seen from the second-story living room windows. Wish list for future enhancements - br>br> Finishes for the valence are available in a variety of colors. They have an aluminum face that is spotless and well-finished. It doesn't quite match the look of our paint/furniture/etc. It's functional, but it's not flawless. It would be nice if it came in a black finish. I'll probably take it apart and paint it black at some point. Of course, an additional fabric/wood valence can be added across the top, but that doesn't always fit in with the aesthetic of every home. Finally, these are a fantastic deal for DIYers or even contractors. Nearly identical units are priced differently at several different window treatment stores in the area. 3 times in each window We'll be able to install all seven windows for less than $2,000. Prices in the area ranged from $6 to $12. For this, I give all five stars. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> It was a breeze to set up! It's a simple operation that works well. Pro- tip: when you've got the 15-minute mark You're fiddling with the upper and lower limits on the channel remote. To finish the sequence, adjust the upper limit first, then the lower limit. If you don't like the lower limit, you must perform the upper limit first before returning to the lower.

For the window above their stairwell, I needed a motorized blind. I decided to take a chance and order from a Chinese vendor. The quality of their customer service is exceptional. They got in touch with me right away to get exact measurements and customize it to my specifications. br>br>It took a week for the shipment to arrive, and installation was simple. The remote and blind frequencies have been pre-programmed, which is a big help. br>br>These days, programming the remote control isn't as simple as it used to be. It's been about a month since I got it, and it's still going strong. br>br>An extra star is deducted for the remote's inconvenient programming.

The issue was that the windows were 20 feet off the ground at their highest point, and I wanted to be able to adjust them without having to get out the ladder. These colors are absolutely stunning. They're one of the few I've come across that can be controlled remotely. The images depict how the shades appear when they are partially open, partially closed, and fully closed. Programming the shades to the remote was a bit of a challenge. I've got a single remote that controls all three shades. You must specify which remote control you want when placing your order. Please also triple-check your work. Because these are made to order, please take into consideration the following measurements. These are fantastic!.
