These colors appeal to me. It was exactly what I needed! They keep the light out but don't make my living room or dining room feel dark. I went with the darker shade and am glad I did.
br>It would be ideal if the hardware could be moved from the right to the left side for those of us who, like me, have a post on the left side where the cord for raising and lowering the blind can be tied off. br>Apart from that, blind was a good experience. I'll most likely purchase more and figure out how to move the hardware from the right to the left side myself.
This item appealed to me because of the color and the fact that it is made of bamboo. The sun has bleached out the 'expresso,' as you can see in the photo, and it now resembles the 'amber honey. ' It has a poor appearance, but it is a good blind in general.
br>Our family enjoys the natural color and material of bamboo. We have a large oak bookcase that stands 7 feet tall and is divided into two sections, each the width of a bamboo blind. Because the books are of various sizes, they appear to clutter the space. I decided that covering the case with two of these blinds would make the room look nice. So that the hole would not be visible, we attached the blind hooks near the top, where the moulding was attached. This has served us well in our application, and we are pleased with the results. br>Both sun filtering and privacy are provided by the bamboo shades. On our sun porch, we have four bamboo blinds. This company, which is based in Canada, has sold me several blinds. The blinds arrived in good condition, with a reasonable delivery time. They have unquestionably enhanced the appearance of the rooms in which they have been installed.
For my front porch, I need a new one because my old one only lasted about 20 years before succumbing to the sun. I'm hoping it lasts as long as the previous one. In the sun, pvc blinds don't last as long.
I'm going to buy one for each room in my home.
These are fantastic hues. They provide space for both us and our neighbors. When the sun shines on them, however, the color tends to lighten. It's to be expected, but I was hoping they'd stay as dark as they were when we first took them out of the box. Shades that provide excellent privacy!.
Despite the fact that mine is much darker than the pictures on the internet, I still adore it.
