Questions & Answers
Hello, Chicology Cordless Faux Wood Blinds have a 1/2-inch cordless cord. The width has been reduced by one inch. This shade is intended to be installed within the window frame. If you want to use this product outside, you'll need to add three more dollars. The width has been increased by 4 inches. Please let us know if you have any additional questions about installation or mounting; we'd be happy to help!br>Thank you, Chicology - Your Team of Success
Unfortunately, the answer is no.
2 3/8" is what I measured.
Each brand has its own distinct characteristics. First, measure the inside width of this brand before ordering. Then decide whether you want to install it inside or outside; for an inside installation, simply use the measurement you obtained and order the blinds accordingly. In order to accommodate the brackets, the blinds they send you will be 1/2 inch narrower than the ones you ordered. However, if you want to mount the blinds outside, you'll need to add 1/2 inch to the width you measured, as the actual width of the blinds will be 1/2 inch less than what you order. To summarize, measure the distance between the outsides of the left and right brackets, using either an inside or outside mount. And then place an order for a blind that is that wide. You'll get a blind that's a half-inch narrower.

Dear Chicology,
I was 100% dissatisfied with your firm. br>Over the last year, I've placed two orders with you. There were problems with the orders both times. br>We made the mistake of ordering the wrong color on our first order in June of 2018. Excellent service when it came to returning the blinds!! The new blinds arrived in a short amount of time. One of the blinds, however, did not come with any hardware. Parts of the hardware were missing when it was delivered. We finally received the parts, and the blinds are fantastic! br>br>On March 12, 2019, I placed a second order for six blinds, which were supposed to be Chelsea White but were instead White. The boxes were clearly labeled white, and returning them would have been a hassle, and we would not have received replacements in time for a church event on March 30th. Although the white ones are fine for the room, it was disappointing that the off-white ones were not available. We were expecting a white color, so that's what we got. Having said that, in regards to the dis- We are very happy with the construction and appearance of the blinds, and we are satisfied with the accuracy of the orders.
UPDATE: (original review below)br>br>I just wanted to say that after about 3 months of indoor use, these blinds are still holding up fantastically against my dog. I'm really happy with these, and coming from 1" blinds, I can't believe how much more light is blocked when they're closed, and how much more light is let in when they're open, thanks to the larger gaps between each slat. Still, I highly recommend these, and I'm glad I waited for them to arrive instead of settling for a lower-quality product that could have arrived sooner. Original review: br>br> br>br>So far, I prefer them to the 1 inch vinyl blinds that my dog has destroyed on several occasions. I mounted them on the inside and placed them as close to the window as possible to keep the dog from damaging them. They are very sturdy, probably 5 times heavier than the cheap vinyl 1" blind I used to have; they are very easy to get up and down and can easily be done with 1 hand; they came with a center support which I decided not to use because it felt very sold as is and my window isn't that wide at 45", there was no sign of droop or fatigue in the center, though on larger widths I could see this being required; they came with a center support which I decided not to use because it It was a very simple installation, even without using center support. If you're a lightning fast person, you could finish it in under 10 minutes. I prefer to go at my own pace, so it took me about 15 to 20 minutes, including texting, photographing, and cleaning up. For blinds, they do an excellent job of blocking light. These aren't quite blackout curtains, but they're close enough that a person could easily day sleep with them. Overall, I think it's a great set of blinds; they met my optimistic expectations and even exceeded a few of them. The 2 inch blind appeals to me because the larger gaps between each slat appear to allow more light to pass through when they are open, and they keep light out when closed, as I previously stated. Highly recommended; my mother is ordering a couple of sets after seeing how much I liked them, so I'm glad they're simple to install because she'll have me do it for her.
These blinds are really nice. When I hung them in my window, I was blown away. But I have some reservations that I'm not sure I'll be able to overcome. br>br>For starters, they're a LOT of weight. Second, when the blinds are pushed up, they're not visible from the side view. br>br>I'm worried they'll pull out of the wall after a while. br>br>Second, they're not visible from the side view when they're pushed up. They either fall backwards towards the window or forwards into the room (as seen in the photos). This is unaffected by changing the slant angle.
At first, I was annoyed that my shipment had been delivered to the incorrect address and that I had to track it down and drive 7 miles to retrieve it. However, the manufacturer is unlikely to be to blame. I immediately went to YouTube to find the installation instructions after receiving the blinds. It was up and'shading' in about 15 minutes after that. There are no prerequisites in terms of knowledge or tools. br>The material appears to be stiff and cleanable. br>They are both attractive and functional.
Installing it was a breeze. It was a GLOVE fit for my window. Cordless. The blinds come with all of the necessary installation hardware as well as a beautiful valance with side returns. The slats are smooth rather than textured like wood. I was looking at a big box store version of less expensive blinds for around the same price. Theirs were not as good as Chicology's. The slats on the faux wood blinds from the big box stores were made of inferior material that could easily bend, crease, or snap in half. Warp could be an option. When the blinds are closed, as you can see in one of my photos, they let some light in. I don't mind because I'm using these for privacy rather than complete room darkness. br>These Chicology blinds have made my life so much easier! They fulfilled my requirements for a low price and a perfect fit for my window! Also, it was delivered quickly!.
