The term "high profile" (I believe) refers to how the blinds appear. It has nothing to do with the application of the cord mechanism. Ignore the "high profile" designation as long as your cord mechanism meets the replacement part's specifications. To ensure an exact match, you will need to remove the blinds to inspect the cord mechanism.

The blinds' tilt control no longer works. We were on the verge of purchasing a full set of five blinds for our bedroom. I bought these in the hopes of saving money on new blinds by repurposing them. They are extremely well-fitting and functional. The purchase has exceeded my expectations.
I was afraid we'd have to replace the entire set of blinds after our tilt mechanism shattered into ten pieces. Instead, a quick search turned up this product, which appeared to be nearly identical to the factory-installed tilt mechanism. The most difficult aspect of the installation was removing the old retainer clip from the rotating bar. I still had the original brown pull cord, so I took out the white one and replaced it with the brown one. The tilt operation is not as smooth as the factory one, but it worked fine once it was installed. I double- I double-checked the installation to make sure everything is in place. I'm hoping that the enclosed equipment only requires a cleaning. during the time period In any case, it is functional and simple to set up.
All of our blinds now have cords instead of wands as tilt mechanisms. I tried a different brand that met the same requirements, but it was too wide; however, this metal item fits and functions perfectly. Because it's a little wider than the original, I had to tweak the blind end bracket on the side of the mechanism a little. It appears that the blind rod is turned in small increments rather than smoothly, which I find convenient. It's a lot easier to tilt the blinds than it is to use the wands. Although I cannot comment on the item's long-term quality, I do recommend it.

After 13 years, one is broken and has been tilt-free for about a year. The blinds came down when my wife decided to paint, and I realized it was broken. I would strongly suggest it.
