ALERT FOR GARBAGE! It's a waste of money to buy a cheap mounting bracket plate
3/5

The first one I attempted to install broke like a cheap piece of glass. This is not the type of metal to use for this project. Look inside the broken piece to see how porous it is, like sourdough bread, and how full of air bubbles it is. Who says, "Sure, let's save 4 cents on the mounting brackets by using junk metal that's weaker than paper mache?" " Umbra is one of them. Fortunately, it came with another plate and a mid bracket, but I can no longer use the mid bracket. bracket. I'm sorry I bought it, and it should only have cost $9 at this level of quality. Instead of $40, the price is $99.

Although this is a good product, do not use their wall anchors
3/5

I like the design, and it's exactly what I needed. I needed a way to add a thermal layer behind the curtain fabric. Because of the design, the installation was a breeze. The included wall anchors, on the other hand, were useless and easily broke, even with gentle tapping. One of them broke halfway through my pilot hole as I was tapping it in, and it took some effort to get it out. They were also enormous, necessitating the creation of massive holes in the wall. I was able to use some plastic anchors that I had on hand from the Ace Hardware store. I'd recommend this product, but don't count on the included wall anchors; the one on the right is the packaged anchor, and the one on the left is what I ended up using.

These look great, but after ordering six, I've noticed that they tend to fall forward after a few days, even when using the wall anchors
4/5

I believe this is due to the need for longer/thicker screws. Take a look at the photos of being hung for the first time, and then again three days later.

It works Its slim profile allows for less light leakage than traditional curtain rods and gives it a very clean appearance
5/5

The product was of high quality. All necessary hanging hardware, including drywall anchors, was packaged and included. Tips: br>br>
- Make certain to measure and install at least 6-foot of cable. On each side, the window must be 12 inches wider than the window to prevent light leakage.
- Purchase curtains that will wrap around the rod corners and touch the wall when closed, leaving no gaps between the panels. If you don't, more light will leak out the sides.
- Purchase longer curtains and hang the rod well above the window height; otherwise, light will leak through the top, reflect off the ceiling, and your room will be less dark (and make sure your curtains reach the floor).

It was a bit pricey, but it was well worth it
5/5

First and foremost, discard the included anchors and go to your local hardware store to obtain some genuine 3/16 or 1/4 inch anchors and screws. br>I placed a total of three rod orders for three different windows. A center support bracket was included with each rod, as well as all necessary hardware. Because I don't have a place to mount the center bracket for support, I chose to get longer rods than I needed, so I cut down the inner rod and made sure there was more than 3 feet of the inner rod inside the outer rod, ensuring that there was no sag in the middle. I'm currently using Deconovo grometted sheer curtains on the rod closest to the window and Deconovo blackout curtains on the rod farther away from the window, and it's working out beautifully. br>Curtains are simple to replace because they can be pulled to one side, the inner rod unscrewed and pushed into the outer rod, and the curtain slid off. Grommet curtains are as simple as threading a needle; pocket curtains, on the other hand, are a different story. br>br>One of my rods was defective in that it was scratched up and did not sit flush on the mounting plate (see photo), but returning an entire rod because the wrap around part was defective isn't worth it, though I am hoping that when I contact them, they will send me a replacement LEFT wrap around attachment.

The top is sleek, but it lets light in
5/5

These have a surprisingly refined appearance. Despite the fact that the blackout liners completely cover the area of the window and extend about 7 inches beyond the top of the window, some light escapes through the top. We were able to locate studs, which are made of a light metal. In our boxes, there were no missing parts - In fact, I believe we had an extra part that the others didn't have. Thanks to the advice of others, we opened it carefully on the floor.

Parts were required, so I contacted the seller, and the issue was quickly resolved
5/5

Two of the screw bracket sliders were missing from mine when I received it. When I contacted the seller, they promptly dispatched the necessary components. I was grateful for this because I didn't want to have to return such a large item. My husband and I thought this would be the most difficult curtain rod to install, but the screws worked perfectly and there was a brace beam above the windows, so we didn't need drywall anchors. This appears to be quite sturdy to me. It is supported by 200" of blackout energy efficient curtains and 140" of sheer curtains. I wished there was a way to prevent the rod from separating because if you pulled it too far, it would split in the middle. Using both rods with grommets causes them to pull against each other, which is inconvenient, so I'm thinking of going with a sheer layer with no grommet holes. It's very sleek and leveling is a breeze. I liked how you could drill and screw without having to use the actual rod holders. For a clean look, they simply slide on afterward. I was blown away.

Curtain rod is fantastic
5/5

So far, I'm a fan of the curtain rod. Because it came with a middle support, I don't have to worry about it falling. It appears to be of good quality and has a nice appearance; it was the only double blackout rod I could find and was just what I needed! The installation was simple, and I like how the wall attachments are hidden, and my curtains glide smoothly on the rod. I have heavy blackout curtains on the outer bar and sheers on the inner bar, and it works well for both of them.
