They are covering the window on my front door. They're draped in a pair of 36-inch-long thermal, insulated drapes. The magnets have held up through all of our frequent opening and closing of the door. They appear to be quite durable and hold up well in my opinion.

If you only buy one rod, you'll be fine; if you're still confused, move on to the next tip. If you bought a set with multiple rods, make sure you get both types of holders when putting it together. There's a smooth one (for the thicker rod) and there's a rough one (for the thinner rod). 1 with teeth (for the skinner rod), as seen in the first photo. The magnet has a protective cover, as shown in the second photo. Hanging heavy curtains without removing this cover will make it difficult to keep the rod in place. I was able to leave it on with my sheer curtains (pic 4) but had to take it off with my heavy blackout curtains (pic 5). br> 3rd image - Pay close attention to this extremely useful little piece of information! When I was putting the first rod together, it came loose. That tiny clear piece helps hold the rods together unless you use them at their shortest length, and even then, I believe it is useful. br>Overall, this purchase has exceeded my expectations!.
Curtain rod that is magnetic. It ought to be easy. Although I only needed one, this package included two sets of curtain rods, which is a good thing because I can't figure out how to use the other. br>The two magnet curtain rod holders that I did not use do not fit the actual rods that were included because the curtain rod holders have "teeth" inside that prevent me from inserting the rod. br>The curtain rod I did use had no teeth in the magical curtain rod holder, allowing the rod to easily insert; it works, but it doesn't feel very secure. Fortunately, it's a door that we don't use very often, so I'm hoping everything will be fine. The various magnetic curtain rod holders are simply perplexing me.
We had our old wood door replaced with a steel door, and it turned out to be an amazing product. I was overjoyed when the installer recommended a magnetic curtain rod. The magnet is extremely powerful and appealing to the eye. Caveat - Before you place an order, double-check the dimensions. I didn't, and it was then that I realized the rods were too short for my door. However, because I only needed one, I used the extension from the second rod as an extender. I used the second, shorter rod as a towel holder by attaching it to my refrigerator. Win- Win!.
My door has a metal skin and is older. I wanted to hang a curtain, but I am constantly changing my decor and my mind. Making a hole in a door requires more dedication than I had anticipated. These rods go up, stay in place, and come down without causing any damage. Who could ask for anything more? The white finish quality was excellent, and they were well constructed. These could be used anywhere there is a metal surface and you need a rod to hang art or items from hooks. I'm very pleased with these because they have a lot of potential.
It does the job, but it moves if anyone pulls on the curtain even slightly, so I wouldn't use it in a children's room or anywhere where there is a lot of traffic. On the plus side, if it is accidentally moved, it is simple to reinstall.
This was an excellent deal for multiple doors. Once the curtains have been adjusted, it's difficult to get side by side in the exact spot. But it gets the job done. So far, the new doors haven't been marked.
These don't require the use of adhesive. In fact, it wasn't until I went to put them up that I realized they were adhesive. They've decided to stay at my door on their own!.
These magnetic rods were incredibly simple to set up and provided the ideal solution for hanging curtains on my front door.
