In the middle of the rod, it splits.
The circumference of one rod is less than that of the other. Ensure that the smaller rod is inserted into the smaller circumference end and the larger rod is inserted into the larger circumference end. I hope this information is useful.

Several years ago, I purchased three sets of magnetic rods from Bed Bath & Beyond. Beyond that, and the magnets within them are extremely powerful. They can withstand being slammed shut doors. This is not the case with these magnets. They also have a tendency to sag slightly due to the weight of the cafe curtains I installed, which are made of medium-weight cotton. cotton weight- Despite the fact that the curtains are made of poly, which isn't a particularly heavy material, the magnets are so weak that the rods move when I push them at all. This magnetic rod set left me very disappointed.
Magnets are very strong and stick well, but without the covers, the metal rods' ends are sharp. I wasn't expecting inserts, so I ruined one rod by trying to fit the wrong end into the opening with the inside cover, so double-check everything before you put it together. I recently installed steel siding on my home and was looking for a way to decorate the outside without causing holes in the siding. Some of the magnetic rods I've tried are only suitable for use indoors, but these have held up well in our high winds and wet weather. I'm using the ones I messed up as hooks, and the steel rods are more durable than a lot of the curtain rods I've used in the past. I believe I will be able to use them in some way. My son wants to keep rabbits out of his garden, so I'm thinking of using them as fencing. They're strong enough to hold up heavy plants or short fences.
I bought two of these to keep window sheer panels in place on my metal patio doors. The magnets are reasonably strong, but I have three large dogs, so I am constantly repositioning them because they collide with them. It's not a major issue, but I thought I'd mention it. They appear to be of good quality, and the materials are in line with the price.
The magnets do not adhere to the surface. When you move it, the rod separates.
I like to open the curtain to let in the full sun, then close it again in the evening. These are fantastic!.
To block the glare and direct sunlight into this room, I needed new curtains and rods. Because my french doors aren't metal, the magnets won't stay in place, so I figured I'd use double-sided tape, but I didn't realize that each magnet has adhesive to adhere it to the doors. What a fantastic concept! br>I picked the perfect color to complement the rest of my home's decor.
The magnets were not very powerful. The weight of the curtains causes them to fall off at times. The rest of the trip went smoothly.
They didn't stay as long as I had hoped. It worked out fine because I had to rest them against the window frame.
