Questions & Answers

Hello, the responses thus far have left me perplexed. Is it true that this item comes with wall brackets?

Yes, the package includes everything you'll need; mine included three brackets. It was designed to fit a large window.

Is it included with the bracket?

Yes, they have all of the brackets, but they are made of a low-quality material that bends easily. They do, however, look good hung up.

Is this a true champagne color, or does it appear to be more silver? I'd like it to have more silver in it. ?

It has a silvery sheen to it, similar to brushed nickel.

What is the distance between the wall and the brackets?

They are three inches in length. I believe the rod rests at 2 and 1/2" in the holder. I hope this helps! For the price, we think it's a great rod!

It's all about the size
3/5

This isn't a bad review in the traditional sense. Instead, it's the review that I wish I had read before purchasing three of these. I had to return three of these on my own dime. br>br>For the price, you can't beat this thin, plastic curtain rod; however, if you want a real curtain rod, this isn't it. br>br>Here's an important point to remember: It's important to note that most curtain panels can accommodate a rod with a much larger diameter. You want to make sure your tab or grommet has enough rod to hug. This rod is 5/8" in diameter. That is a very small amount. A typical-looking individual Any but the lightest fabric will sag under the weight of a large grommet on this rod, and the rod will sag sooner or later. To put it another way, using this rod with a standard curtain is akin to throwing a hot dog down the hall. br>br>However, if you're looking for a slim, not-so-sturdy rod, this one comes with attractive brackets, screws, and anchors. Installation is simple if you have a long level, a pencil, a drill, brad point bits, and a screwdriver—which you should have if you're doing your own curtain rods.

If you are, you should avoid purchasing the Kenney Chelsea CAFE style
5/5

If you're going to do heavier curtains across a wide window, skip the Kenney Chelsea CAFE style. Chelsea BALL is the thicker, more powerful model you've been looking for! I purchased the CAFE style without realizing they used a very thin pole for a 48-inch pole. 96" run! Unless you're only using sheer curtains that are very light, the BALL style is the way to go. On such a long curtain rod, you'd expect it to be thick and strong. br>br>Keep in mind that CAFE stands for "light, sheer. " BALL is an abbreviation for "standard" and "heavy. ".

Plastic was used for the balls
4/5

I purchased the soft brass finish, and the color matches my expectations exactly. In the middle of the silver-gold spectrum. br>br>I deducted a star because the end balls are plastic. It's a metal rod. br>br>It took me about 10 minutes to put it together.

It was difficult to erect, but it served its purpose
3/5

It accomplishes the task at hand. The screw placement, on the other hand, is a CON. br>br> I've included some photos with this message. Because of the angle, this is difficult to accomplish with a screw driver. In the photos, I included a small screwdriver as a visual aid. br>br>Putting it up was a pain in the a**, but once it was done, it was fine. The setup is the only thing that bothers me, which is why I gave it two stars. This appears to be poor design on my part.

Exceeded my expectations in every way
5/5

I was expecting flimsy mounting brackets and thin metal tubes, but they're both made of heavy gauge steel. However, this is merely a word of caution. On Amazon, the vast majority of blackout curtains with grommets are shown hanging on rods that are 1 inch or larger. These are only 5/8 inch in diameter. Because the rods are too small for the grommets, the curtains will not look as cool.

From afar, you have a nice appearance
3/5

I'm going to revise my review - I thought they were great at first, but our lined Pottery Barn curtains are too heavy for them. They bow in the middle, and the rod came loose from the wall last night. They were, however, excellent for sheer curtains.

This rod easily supports the weight of two lined curtains, and I'm confident it could support even more
4/5

This is what we use to hang curtains in front of our sliding glass doors (as seen in the picture). The doors are approximately 100 inches wide, and this rod easily supports the weight of two lined curtains, and I'm sure it could support even more. It includes all of the necessary hanging brackets, as well as three of them - i. e. one on each side and one in the center. When hanging such a long rod, the middle bracket is extremely important, and while not all rods come with one, this one does. The rod could sag in the middle or fall down under the weight of the curtains if it doesn't have it. In comparison to what I've seen at Target and other stores in my area (the North East), the price is reasonable. Because the ball at the end is so small, it won't make a big impact in your room. It's plain and simple, and it does the job, which is exactly what I needed. It was simple to erect.

Don't hand over your cash to Amazon; this comes complete with brackets and screws! At maximum extension, the rod bends slightly in the middle
3/5

Brackets and anchor screws are included in the package. Don't make the same mistake I did and fall for the "People who bought this item also bought these brackets" scam.
