approx. 3 - To the rod, add 3 1/2 inches.
There are three brackets, but my smaller rod had a center bracket that I didn't use, so I used it on the larger rod as well, giving me a total of four brackets that spread out evenly and balanced even better than three because my curtains are so heavy.
Will a 100-inch-wide window and a 100-inch-wide drape work with the rod without the center support?
It's approximately 3 inches in length, possibly a little less.

I placed an order for six of these for my home. I read all the negative reviews about how difficult it was to get to the screw holes straight on. Nobody can seem to get anything to work. It's as if their logic is obstructing their common sense. My score was 0 - ZERO is a word that starts with the letter "Z" and ends with the This is having issues installing. A video has been added to the page. And yes, I was balancing on a ladder, holding my phone AND the curtain rod holder with my LEFT hand while screwing the thing in with my RIGHT hand. Yes, you can screw it in from the side, right? Geez- So there you have it. I admit that I drilled the first hole for the plastic drywall peg at a slight downward angle, perhaps 10 degrees. However, as you can see, it had no negative impact on the installation. What you're saying is that the screwdriver doesn't have to be perfectly straight. Uh- yeahhhhh. I'll just leave it to the video to do the talking. Even if you don't have a power drill, a longnecked Phillips screw driver should suffice, and the price appears to have been reduced as a result of the negative reviews. Lol.
To install this, all you need are the right tools and the right skill set. Don't slam the product because you can't use it. If you can't do it yourself, hire someone to do it for you. If you don't have an impact driver with an extension, you'll need a longer screwdriver. If you're going to use the anchors, you'll also need a drill (or an impact driver if you have one). The anchors were unnecessary because I was able to bite into the stud. br>br>Actual reviewbr>br>The pole is sturdy, comes with everything you need, including brackets to hang it, has no design flaws, is reasonably priced, and arrived quickly. What exactly is it that you have a problem with?.
I hate admitting that I've made a mistake, but here it is. br>br>This is the fourth one I bought. With little to no inspection of the comments section, I gave this set of curtain rods (and its larger brother, which has yet to be hung) a 5 star rating. 4. It appears to be attractive. 5 stars! What is the worst that can happen? br>br>However, if you return to the image and zoom in, you'll notice that the accent paint varies. I didn't notice that. I'm not crazy about it, but paint isn't a bad idea. huge- deal. physics, on the other hand? Why would you dig a hole that is difficult to get to? Why? I would have paid for the extra metal if it had been available. That's all I can say - not- Don't make the same mistakes as me- Get a new book if you're reading this. If you arrived later, it's because you're also angry. At the very least, give it a rating so that no one else makes the same mistake as me.
The top screw is not accessible with a screwdriver due to the design of the wall mounts. Screwing the top screw into the wall is virtually impossible.
I read the reviews, and I appreciate you pointing out the top screw design flaw. Tightening is a pain, especially when you're close to the stop. A ratchet screwdriver, Maxcraft 60601 flex ratchet screwdriver, was discovered. $10. I didn't have a lot of clearance tightening the top screw, but using this tool made it possible and it wasn't difficult; you have to supply the Philips bits, but I had several over the years and was all set; I specifically bought this tool for this job because I read your reviews; I specifically got this tool for this job because I read your reviews; and I specifically got this tool for this job because I read your reviews; and I specifically got this tool for this job because I read your reviews; and I specifically.

As almost everyone, if not everyone, has stated, there is a design flaw in this, making installation a major pain in the neck. I kept looking for something similar but couldn't find anything, so I went with this one. I did, however, follow another reviewer's advice and order the Maxcraft 60601 flex ratchet screwdriver, which they said they paid $10 for. 91 - It cost me $12 to buy. Because the rod set is so long, it will take more than one person to complete the installation. br>Well, he wasn't a fan of the pretty Decopolitan Window Treatment! I got all the stuff out for my husband to do, and I planned to help hold the rod when he needed it or pass him tools, screws, and so on. br>Well, he wasn't a fan of the pretty Decopolitan Window Treatment! He whined the entire time he was putting it together, claiming that there is definitely a design flaw because getting the top screw in is nearly impossible. He did, however, complete the task. However, we were unable to install the window treatment rod with the Maxcraft 6061 flex ratchet. I attempted to return it online through Amazon but received an error message stating that it was not returnable; however, after a brief conversation with an Amazon representative, I was credited the $12 purchase price. Maxcraft receives a score of 99 out of a possible 100 points. So save some money and skip it for this installation. Standard tools will not be able to install the hardware provided. I had to buy box screws so I could get a box wrench behind the bracket because the shape of the bracket prevents me from using a screwdriver. Aside from that, the rod is quite good.
