There was a slender, solid mailing tube that came with the rod. Despite its size, it was very tightly contained inside of the tube. Hardware went up in less than an hour, including installation. This rod has been extended to a length of approximately 28' without any signs of strain. all, a very satisfactory curtain holder for the small window in the front door, located just above eye level.
Noren curtains were used in a doorway that did not have a door above this rod in my house. Its measurements were accurate and it appeared to be able to accommodate many types of devices. As far as measurement goes, I am not sure what size I set mine for, but it was smaller than a normal sized doorway, and it still worked fine. Just make sure the measurement is specified in the description before you buy it. Since the rod is an aluminum rod, it is flimsy in terms of its durability. The rod was a bit bent after I tugged the rod a bit too hard while installing it. Putting heavier items like curtains on top of it doesn't cause the curtains to bend, as long as you don't apply a lot of force. The product is very good for the price I paid, and I would be inclined to give it a 5-star rating if it weren't for the rod being prone to bending under too much pressure. An electric drill with low power was sufficient for the installation. A complete set of screws and mounting brackets has been.
Not as strong as I thought it would be. We didn't have to apply much pressure to bend the metal. I didn't expect that to happen. My curtains were up, but I couldn't find the curtain tracks.
In place of the screws you see in the photo, it came with nails instead. In order to make the installation more easy, this was an important detail I considered when purchasing. My next task is to find the tiny screws I need.
At the front of my house, I have a panel with lace curtains. It is impossible not to be entertained by my mischievous black cat, when she climbs on the lace panel! The original curtain rod on which the lace was suspended was destroyed by him. Despite its mangled shape, it appeared as if it had taken a C shape. The rod I replaced it with was the best I could find, but I expected it to be destroyed. Bebop didn't damage the rod when he climbed the curtain again during the night. Instead, the rod popped loose at one end, the curtain fell to the floor, and the rod remained untouched. There have been a few more instances of this, and the rod is holding up fairly well. I'm very satisfied with this product, and Bebop too seems to like it.
picked up similar gear at Walmart for half the price, with stronger metals and metal ends. There are cheaper options from local stores, so the price difference does not matter, except you can get better quality for a lower price. It is my loss, but I hope others will read any warnings.
Fortunately, I only had to buy three of these to get one that did not My hands were full of them one arrived bent and I had to reorder and return it, but as the second one was delayed by the delay in shipping that I intended to use for return I ran out of time to return it. This curtain cannot apply any pressure to the head of the hook if the head is not attached securely enough. Spend your money wisely. The best thing to use would be a piece of string.
It is very flimsy and the clips that hold the rod have already broken. I had it for about three.
