The material for your curtains may need to be lightweight as 108 inches is 9 feet. If they are quite heavy you may need a center support. You can put the rod up and try it with the curtains to determine if it works. A middle support can be added at a later time. It is a beautiful curtain rod, though I only extended it by a couple inches on either side for a 36-inch window!

Beautiful rods. I like the way they look. I was looking for something just like this. instruction manual was pretty self-explanatory and should have been relatively easy to follow, we encountered a few problems with ours. A couple of the drywall screws bent, but as we did not have any extras or replacements, we figured out how to do it anyway. It was the fact that one of the rods (I ordered two) came with the end cap (where you attach the artichoke style end) in the extension rod that caused the most frustration. Seeing as how long it took us to finally get them up, we decided we didn't want to deal with exchanging it and waiting for a new rod, so we ended up glueing the end of the rod to the wall. I like to look at them because they are lively.
According to the production description, the object measures 72" - 80" This is "144". This is not the case. There is a maximum size of 102" that it will accommodate. After cutting off 28" from the main rod, we had to file the edges so it was You don't want your drapes to get caught on rough edges! I think the rods are sturdy and the finials are beautiful. However, the sizing is not accurate as stated.
The length seems to be between 72 and 148 inches, not 72-72. " A total of three pieces, each about fifty inches long. Only outside pieces can be fitted with finials center pieces require an adjustment (2 - 4" Other than that, a very bought both of these--the 48" and the 52" We made a rod of 80" by taking pieces from each of the 72" versions (which is correct).
Liked the end caps, liked the sturdy nature, but found it annoying that we had to cut the end pieces to create a balanced appearance. As for the 36" rod, it was more than evident it would not fit the 36" The pole once again had to be cut. Neither the measurement nor the description are correct. reviewers brought this up, but I decided to take a chance and had the same issue. Depending on whether you're handy at repairing the problem, they are pretty and sturdy, but you'll have to put in some effort to make them work.
The thick rods I purchased are of a similar quality to ones I purchased previously for I am very pleased with my.
Although I have yet to install it, I can speak to the bracket hardware, but I can say that the pole itself seems very sturdy. The heavy double-sleeved shirt I'm hanging weighs about nine pounds We are very comfortable with our five-sided art tapestry (about 5' x 6'), and think that it will support our weight very well. In addition to being attractive and solid, the end pieces are also very well made.
Hardware at a budget price. When I first bought this curtain rod I was delighted with it, however I couldn't get it to hang properly. The two screws in the bracket snapped when I attempted to mount it onto a wall stud with the included screws. A screwdriver was all I had to use for this task. Metallic material that is soft and cheap. The wall is now solidly mounted with half screws. Thanks for your help.
It is pretty to see the detail on finials. Installation is quick and simple. The valances are made with this. It would be better if it were thicker if I were using it for curtains.
