One rod is all that is needed.
Curtains that are lightweight would be the best choice, in my opinion. A lace window dressing, lightweight cotton, or the decorative scarf window covering might be suitable.
The answer is yes. It didn't seem possible that the magnets would be strong enough to hold the steel rod against
Curtain rods like this one are only useful for doors made of metal, such as French patio doors. Light curtains can be put on it to control ambient light or to provide

The quality is poor and the price is low. In a few days, this curtain rod will be disposed of in the trash. This is what I've found to be the issue with this poorly made product 1. There is no solid piece to the rod. There's an opening running the length of the piece of rolled metal. In the process, I bought a curtain with jagged edges, which cause the lining to snag and tear, causing it to bleed. Also, this causes the rod to lose its integrity, making it . * *2. Magnets are not strong enough to hold onto a door and to prevent it from moving by itself. The magnets are equipped with a double sided tape to make mounting easier. Consequently, it makes sense to purchase a magnetic curtain rod instead. 1. 2. 3. I think they have a cheap look. The whole place is covered in white glossy plastic with a very cheap look. Update
I hate them now that I've had them for four months or so. They are constantly falling off, snagging the curtain with sharp metals, and making us very angry. You can save time and energy by doing this.
Curtain rods with bottom brackets for panels along patio doors). It appears that the magnets only functioned on one side of both rods. I could see one defective rod, but two? Even though the dog uses this door as his main point of entry to watch for rabbits, the Magne Rods do not slide out of place. We returned and spent double the amount on the Magne Rod 00105 and they worked perfectly. Get the Magne rods if you can afford it.
There is no simple way to install a curtain rod on a metal kitchen door - the rod cannot simply be drilled in and then screwed in. It is a fantastic solution to use this rod! The installation is easy - all you need to do is follow the instructions It took me about 2 minutes to open the pack, hang the curtains I purchased separately on the rod, and hang The item has been purchased twice.
The pros are as follows Installation takes less time The price is great Metal doors are a great fit for this Simple to use with and without grommet - securely holds curtains Magnesium is a very strong magnetic material The rod is lightweight, so it is easier to handle Assembly is quick and easy It is easy to change curtains *I have not noticed any damage to my door caused by the magnet*Cons There is one con of this rod, which is that it is not as strong as it could be. I have a door that swings open and the rod will hit a corner of the wall if I swing the door roughly. However, I have lightly tapped the wall while holding the door open and twisted the rod (because I bent it I still gave it four Would you consider this review helpful?
I think the rod could be a little more durable

There is a claim it holds up to 3lbs in the description. The bottle may hold up to 3 ounces, but I doubt it. A weak magnet is first of all the problem. Curtains kept the rod in place, but without them, it wouldn't. During the night, one side of the door repeatedly slid down. Also, I was under the impression that it would stay in place because of the adhesive back. This is incorrect. As opposed to scotch tape, this adhesive isn't as sticky. I noticed that I lost half of the adhesive when I removed the protective backing from the adhesive. The fourth problem was that after the curtain rod was put up, it popped off and had the inner rod.
It is a cream color as well White is not the only color.
There is a full glass back door in a high traffic area that is covered by it. If anyone brushes against it, the two different pieces rotate downward, separate from each other, and the curtain tumbles to the ground. Let each of the two separate pieces dangle from either side of the door facing downward. By the magnet, it is still attached to the door. The magnet attached to the door seems strong enough to hold the pieces. I am using a sheer curtain that is very lightweight but not strong enough to prevent the pieces from rotating downward. In the center of each piece where they slide into each other, I glued the two pieces together with hot glue. As a result, they are no longer separated. I haven't had a problem with it falling off since then.
The above has been said by others There is a serious lack of magnetism in the magnets. If you're careful, you can keep your rods up, but when I've had company over who didn't realize how delicate my curtains are, my rods have already fallen down. The magnetic curtain rod is a bit pricey, but it's a good deal. I have another magnetic curtain rod from Menard's that I love, and I was hoping this would be in the same high quality, but sadly this isn't the case. I've updated to Trying to keep this rod up is proving to be quite the challenge. On average, I knock the rod down once or twice a week, and friends tend to do the same almost every time they visit. Aside from that, the sticky back of the magnets has caused the paint on my metal door to peel off. You've got a lot of work to do to repaint that. It is not a purchase I would recommend.
As far as I can tell, my expenditure on this item was less than $8. It was not expected to be the Rolls Royce of curtain rods, but I expected it to function properly nonetheless. There is no issue with the magnetic holders on the ends. They look good and are Initially, I only needed the rod to cover an old back door window and was only going to attach a light bulb to it. A rod is mounted on the curtain rod. The curtain is a weighted type. In this case, the rod is at fault. In spite of the fact that both sections of the stool were supposed to telescopically extend, I was not able to separate the smaller section from the larger I tried using needles on the rod, but it just bent and mangled when I did it. Using needle-nose pliers, I tried pulling them apart. After a few minutes of trying and messing up the rod, I took the pliers and bent the rod to pieces and tossed it in The magnetic holders are still in my possession, and I'm planning on going to the local Wal-Mart Alternatively, you can go to Wal-Mart, Target or Lowes and get another generic rod that will work. I wonder if I just hit the jackpot - It's a girl Do you really have a hundred bad rods? That's all I can say. I have no reason to like.
