What an amazing set of photos! These are ideal for patio doors with sliding glass and It would be useful to have a rod included in the package. If I could have paid more, I would have! I had a rod of 1/2" diameter and 1" in There is no way to make up for this. Despite trying to tighten them, the bolts wouldn't go in. A rod width of one inch is required for these brackets. These brackets are best paired with curtain rods with a diameter of 3/4" or 1", or longer screws to make them hold smaller rods.
The idea of these things appeals to me. As a leaseholder, I want curtains to hide the blinds of my landlord. I don't want to drill holes in the wall to install them. Stylish brackets fit on top of the vertical blinds' frames. As a result of only giving a 3 star review instead of a 5-star review, we have brought this item down as it only fits curtain rods up to 1 inch in diameter. They fail to mention that the screws on their bracket won't screw into a curtain rod with a smaller diameter so it will securely grip themselves to the bracket. The rod would have worked fine if we had purchased a 1" diameter rod, but since we have a smaller diameter 3 piece rod, every time we try to open our curtains the curtain rod pulls apart and falls apart, since it's sliding back and forth on the bracket.
Since I am in the military, we move around a lot and often have to live in houses with sliding glass doors and those ever-so-lovely As soon as we arrived at our new duty station, I was most eager to try them out. For the sliding doors, I ordered a set of 3 brackets to make sure there was enough support to cover the large rods. This design is very good, both in concept and in quality. Despite our best efforts, we were unable to utilize Our vertical blinds are mounted on our wall by 3 mounts that clip onto the blinds. Probably not everyone uses this method, but our vertical blinds are attached that way. This clip is not secure enough for another attachment because it clips on in a way that doesn't allow it to be removed. It would probably all fall apart if these brackets were installed on it in such a way as to result in too much weight. The original blinds as well as the new rod/curtains would all fall to the ground. Due to the fact that this was used for the sliding doors on the patio, where there was quite a bit of traffic from the family (including children), I did not think it would be In an attempt to keep the fixture from falling, I used a rope to attach the bracket to the wall's mounting. However, it didn't work. As a result, I determined that the NoNo brackets were not appropriate for our current needs after trying them out for a couple days. In general, this is a great product and I would be happy to use it again for a window which does not experience The window blinds on your current window should hold the weight your current blinds can hold to ensure they are securely fastened.
Yet just the thought of it all was too much for me. This is an ingenious product that took only five minutes to create! I loved how it turned out and what an easy way to get rid of the odor!.
If you already have vertical blinds you don't necessarily need blackout curtains. I used a 3/4 inch rod and sheer lightweight curtains. I am not sure how well they would hold up with heavy curtains, but if you already have vertical blinds you don't really need them!.
First of all, I was very pleased with the delivery. Despite ordering on a Tuesday afternoon, I received the package on From California to Indiana, it was shipped. In terms of the product, it is as follows It is so nice to have these and am so glad that I bought them! Window treatments always seem to be a pain in the rear to me, and since I moved into my current apartment, I totally gave up the idea. The apartment has ugly vertical blinds on all the windows, and I couldn't figure out how to hang a rod over the blinds. I can't hang things anyway, plus I can't do it. It was probably due to being tired of looking at the ugly blinds that I googled the answer 'how to hang curtains over vertical blinds. ' Taking a chance was the best course of action after I discovered no-no brackets. You can do them in a flash! The panel came with a 3/4 rod and a gromment panel. The next thing I want to purchase is more no-no brackets for my living room. Please accept my sincere thanks! I wish I could find these at a store.
You have done a great job! I use them in my apartment without any problems. It was great not to have to drill holes in my wall to hang curtains and that they hide those ugly vertical blinds.
