There appears to be a response from the seller and I measured the same amount of 2 inches. Please allow me to address you as the Seller The review from last year has the complaint that hole spacing is not included in the description or the figure for this product. A year has passed, it would be nice to have the figure updated as I am not the only one who needs a replacement that lines up with the anchors
While the bracket is made from aluminum alloy, it won't rust in the bathroom, the screw is made from iron with an electroplating treatment, so it may rust over

There was a range of sizes and these were the right size (most other offerings were shorter) and attractive (many brackets like these are made of stamped and bent metal and are ugly, designed to be concealed). I found the price to be reasonable, and I am satisfied with its performance. Good product. Especially like the fact that it came with two different lengths of screws, so that it would fit a variety of bar or rod.
It was a replacement bracket for a broken bracket and I had to hope it matched. Apart from being thicker and built better than the original curtain rod brackets, it actually worked with them. One thing I would recommend is adding the hole spacing dimensions to the design on the Amazon website. My only hope was that things would turn out ok, but they did. As an aside, the bracket I replaced with these had been welded and it was absolutely broken at the weld, so the single piece construction is not just a marketing ploy.
As far as hardware goes, it isn't as bulky as it seems The equipment is high-end, but it does the job. I am using this rod until the new one arrives since the rod I ordered was too small for the window.
The curtain rods I purchased for my home a few years ago cost me about $100. With the original sets that I bought, they had a bracket very similar to this one. They did not have the same closed brackets when I was getting them for an additional area in the house. There are brackets included that have an open cup style so the rod sits on top of them. The curtain rods did not feel like high-quality or give the same "finished" look as the original ones, in my opinion. I was able to find these on Amazon, so I searched around. I really like how they are made, and they are sturdy too. It is similar in style to the curtain rods I had in my original set.

These drapes are sturdy, and they do not extend to far from the ceiling, but they do extend far enough if you have a border on your curtain.
My patio French doors are located over this curtain rod, which didn't take up too much space. It worked great because it didn't take up many spaces. Materials made from it are strong and durable.
