I had a two-directional wood screw installed
As a pair of finials (2 pieces per package), this item is sold individually.
A wooden closet pole has the same diameter as the base, which is what I screwed them The pole and the finials I painted to match the wall have an extra long length, so I needed to cover a long space. Ball is a little too small to tell you its circumference
They feel solid, though I do not know where the wood came from. There is no way for me to believe it's pine. You might want to check Amazon seller Capitol City Lumber to see if they have any information about it.

It's in my job description to decorate interiors a lot. I was so happy to find these finials because I hadn't realized wood curtain rod brackets and finials were being phased out in retail stores. My pieces are very high quality and I will probably buy them I am thankful that you continue to make them.
We received the pictures with a pair of grooves less evident than the ones in the ones we received. Unlike the edges which typically are true and clean, the rounded edges appear to be a result of the oversanding. We found that they were the same size and shape as ones we bought in the store years ago, and since we didn't have time to wait for the returns process, For those who are concerned about the quality of finish, it's advisable to return/exchange them after a reasonable period of time has passed.
I also bought wood wall brackets and a connecting dowel to go along with them. I received the product early and it was well-packed for shipping, as well as having excellent I will order more of these after I have my living room drapes sewed so we have new drapes in our dining room and bedroom. I found the experience to be very satisfying.
Suitable for using at the end of curtain rods.
A wooden rod I have was missing a finial, so I searched everywhere for one. My rods turned out so much darker when I stained them Early American. Each of them has a ring around it that is so light that I can't distinguish between There is no wood on my rods, so I assume they are similar in material to mine. Although the drapes came out so dark, there is good news in that the rod will be concealed behind them. If you look closely, you can still see glue from the wood after it has been stained, and the finial is not one solid piece of wood.
I am very pleased with how they took stain and turned out. Product of high quality at an affordable price. It is a pleasure to be of assistance.
The perfect solution for my problem!.
My other ones were stained nicely to match this one.
