I'm OK with these finials, however they are a lot larger in size than I expected. One of these is the size of a baseball and another is the size of a soccer ball I would say that the size is slightly larger Plastic and rubber are used in their manufacture Screws are used to attach them to the curtain rods. It was necessary to tap out my rods to make the hole larger so these would fit my rods, as the screws were longer than the screws on the finials that came with This would work better in a large room as opposed to a small The only drawback would be my own personal taste, as I also would not buy them again.
Because they are cheap, they seem cheap when viewed up close. The illusion is created by the installed ones. They are not perfect as I think mould lines could have been removed. A curtain rod with repainted finials was in need of replacements. This is the perfect alternative to glass orbs for those who like the look but are not satisfied with the price. Even though the pedestals appear to be plastic, I painted them to match the rod and canopy I like how they look now.
This is one set of two that I bought to add some character to our black canopy bedframe (without the canopy). I think they add a beautiful finishing touch to the frame. If they were on curtain rods, they'd probably look just as good!.
In the center of the ball, there is a line where the halves of the acrylic ball However, I am on my way to return the merchandise, but I am getting a refund and told not to worry about returning it.
