Is it possible to remove the old bases left over from when the finial snapped off without damaging the rails of the fence?

The only thing I did was to pull by hand and let it come out some. I tapped it with a hammer to remove the extra, there was no damage to the rails.

The 1/2 inch size I received from another company was too small. Can you let me know the approximate dimension of the 1/2 inch size?

Upon measuring mine, they are approximately 1 inch across the bottom and 4 14" tall.

White sounds good, don't you think?

The look and fit are perfect

This was ordered to replace the finials on top of our iron perimeter fence which were broken. It was a perfect fit and I had 15 installed in less than Just a little bit of WD-40 This makes it glide right on top of the iron vertical prong when it is inserted inside the new finial. Along with the originals, this is great. Trying to go through my replacements, but I can't tell which ones.

There is an ornamental top on the fence bars that I must keep. We occasionally see kids in the neighborhood climb on our fence and pull them off. If they aren't eaten by the mower, the kids disappear.
